And Gosho, being the writer of the manga, is one of the only people who have a clue what will be eventually in it, which is why what he claims in the interviews holds weight.
I mean, why not accept what Gosho said?

There's no guarantee Gosho wasn't drunk that day.

If you really want to argue against the interview, you could say that since the interview is reported and translated by fans, then it might be false. No need to go to such a huge assumption like Gosho being drunk on that very day for this specific interview, unless of course you have a reason to believe Gosho would come drunk to interviews.

I'd say he'd tell us the truth IF he was actually drunk instead of denying,... and if so, that means that all the other stuff he revealed at that interview is fake...which is highly doubtful!!

What if Akai-Akemi-Amuro had this love triangle going on before Date died, which would be the basis for their rivalry instead?

Many fans made that theory ages ago(see Chek analysis),and recently Gosho said "Akemi has nothing to do with Amuro/Akai rivalry",in the same interview Gosho said we would know Amuro's real name,which happened recently.I guess that shows Gosho was perfectly clear that day
Of course there's always a risk of Gosho lying,or changing his mind at some point,but I don't think it has ever happened...especially for something so important.

Your comment has no point. The "drunk" part was just one of the many possibilities, you really think he would have every character interaction moment in his head at that moment when he has other cases to think about? Please.

He only thought about Amuros hatred after Dates death because he wanted to add this mention about that certain person to this scarlet series that I'm sure he's been wanting to make for a while, it being 20th anniversary and all, and simply forgot to think about the rest during an interview with like 100 questions.

He forgot about Makoto in regards to the movies, yes. He's one of the few important characters who haven't actually appeared in the movies, after all.

Concerning Amuro I have some questions regarding the police he's working for...They seem to be completly fine with the idea of sacrificing Akai,althought they know he's a FBI agent.I can understand Amuro's reasons to do that but the higher ups are aware of his decision and agree with that? This is a bit different from the FBI vision.unless Amuro lied to his collegues.

Do I think he would have every character interaction in his head during an interview? No (again, no one claimed such a thing). Do I think he would know what's the motivation of the character that the current arc he was writing, is focused on? Yes.

This all really depends on Gosho messing up timeline wise. But what does that have to do with the possibility of Akai-Akemi-Amuro rivalry? There's still a pretty big leap of logic there.

As I said, maybe he simply thought of another reason why Amuro "hates" Akai during that time? If this Date stuff gets mentioned outside of the metropolitan love story cases then there may be problems if there for some reason has to be only one reason why Amuro is after Akai?

I guess there's that chance of Amuro being the 2nd oldest brother in the end and Akai doesn't magically know that, and that dead (maybe) person is the Sera father?

Amuro said that he will explain something to the higher-ups, I guess it means making excuses now that he's going to give up on Akai for the time being.

I was about to troll you but I just can't find any point in your comments so... Why bother? I have no time for this right now, anyway.

You were making assumptions and you were being vague in your posts, so I asked you questions, and replied to your arguments (like the other people here). You were arguing that we shouldn't take Gosho's comment at the interview seriously, and I wanted to know why you thought we should do that. It's easy as that.

As for trying to troll me, and the general attitude you've showcased here, you should knock it off, like right now.
