I just reached what I think is the last puzzle in Prof Layton
and it needs me to use my mic (((((((((
LMAO are you serious, good luck bypassing that im not nearly as far as you
actually, I managed to get my mic to work (had to fiddle with some random settings on my computer) and got past it. So now I've beaten the game, yay!
113 of 115 encountered puzzles solved (couldn't do knights tour #2 and the solitaire #5 ), hamster done, but nothing of the camera and hardly any tea stuff done. Also I had like 45 hint coins at the end >_>
I'm posting the German names if they are in English (otherwise I use Wikipedia to translate). Most of them are English (for marketing reasons), but perhaps the English title is not the same.

In also played through different Zelda games (OoT, Majoras Mask, TwPr) and liked them, especially OoT.
PC:
Go (Kiseido Go Server)
Rome Total War (BI)
ANNO 1602
ANNO 1701
Railroad Tycoon II
Battle for Middle-Earth I; II; Witch-King

Age Of Empires I, II
The Settlers III
Gothic I, II, III (although III doesn't run well on my computer - and only because I'm carrying the wrong sword!)
Call To Power II
Mobility
Traffic Giant
SimCity 2000; 3000
Oblivion (seldom)
Myst I; II; III; IV; Uru; V (seldom)

never played fire emblem, have a friend who did though. The whole perma-death thing just seems like it would drive me insane.
its hardcore my friend, hardcore.
The perma-death actually intensifies the gameplay a lot. You can't just f around, and you kinda get attached to the characters (btw, There's a LOT of characters in Fire Emblem games, so you're bound to find a couple that you just love)

Has anyone tried scribbenauts yet? That game is totally awesome.
I'M GLAD WE BOTH CAN AGREE ON THIS
all the reviews I've heard on it are pretty mixed, they think it's a good concept but it has absolutely horrible controls which make the game more annoying

I'll agree on the fact that it's very innovative, but MY GOD the controls suck balls!
Sorry kkslider. I was really hoping I'd enjoy the game, but the controls killed me.
BTW akonyl, have u played the new pokemon games? They are out.
And everyone I've heard from has said the controls are bad but not enough to hurt the game too much. And by everyone I meant real people, not those reviewers that don't get a chance to play any game for more than a short while considering how they have to review hundreds of games each year.
I've mostly been playing No More Heroes, Legendary Starfy and Resistance: Kill Buildings with a Hammer Guerilla.

Nah ranger, haven't played em. I'm actually not much of a pogeymans guy, haven't touched the series since gold/silver. I was more of a dragon warrior monsters fan anyway

I wasn't talking about reviewers either, just people on the other board that I go to. However, they do tend to be more negative than most.
