that's not the right thing to calculate though, that would be "how old is xcom if he's 995 years younger than me", to find the difference in the ages it would be "14 - (-995)", which is 1009.
That's the same as being 995 years older though.... -.-'

That's not right. A negative number and subtracting it would make no sense, because there's already a -

if xcom is -995 and alice is 14, she's 1009 years older than him. There's 995 years between -995 and 0, and 14 years between 0 and 14. Together (995 + 14), she's 1009 years older than he is >_>
