Genbu Kaiden's really good, if totally tragic, seeing how it's a prequel and you know how it's going to end. I'll be interested to see if she does the Byakko story.
She said she would to the Byakko story just to complete the series ^_^ I do hope her health improves though

apparently the official report is that Okuda went mental and murdered his daughter, and then himself. I think Suzuno later says that a letter left to her father explains that he didn't want to watch his daughter consumed by Genbu. We know that Suzuno survives, but doesn't get her happy ending with Takara...
I know Byakko isn't Takiko's story, but Eve said "I hoe her health mproves" so I assumed she was referring to Takiko, who as of volume 9 is in the early stages of Tuberculosis.

Started reading Arata the other day. It's pretty good. As usual, I like the side characters better than the main character. ^^
