12:30 AM, Dormitory

hopelessidiot sighed at the sight of her office. Almost every single bed was filled with injured students. She hadn't been able to get much sleep lately since she had to take care of them. Grabbing her coffee mug, she decided to go get another refill - the fifth one since dinner was over.

"Hopey," someone called her. hopeless jumped and turned around. Behind her was Parkur, wearing his Pony pajamas and yawning.

"Parkur," hopeless gasped. "You scared me. What are you doing?"

"Going to sleep, obviously. Besides, shouldn't that be my question?"

"I'm going to get more coffee," she explained.

"It's past 12," Parkur interrupted. "What time are you planning on sleeping tonight?"

hopeless could only shake her head. "I've given up on sleeping ever since school starts. And by the way," hopeless was suddenly reminded. "What did you do to Conia?"

"Nothing you should be concerned about," Parkur grinned. hopeless decided to give up and head to the teachers' lounge, Parkur tagging alongside her.

"I thought you wanted to sleep?"

"I can always sleep later."

As hopeless returned to her room, Parkur still following her, she was suddenly came to a halt. "Darn! I was supposed to be on night patrol!"

"Tsk, tsk, forgetful, aren't you. You really are hopeless."

"Ha, ha," hopeless sarcastically laughed. "I'll just do it now I guess."

As soon as the two of them stepped into the dormitory hall, they could sense something was wrong. All the students' doors were open, and there were people crowding around one of the rooms. As the students spotted them, murmur began floating around the crowd. Some shot worried glances at the teacherr.

"What's going on?" hopeless inquired.

"Well..."

Unexpectedly, Parkur stepped into the room, pushing the students out of the way. On the floor, a student's body lie unconscious. Turning it around, Parkur and hopeless recognized the poor victim as Misaki-chan (James).

hopeless quickly felt her pulse. "Very weak, must be from exhaustion. What happened..."

"Homework." A student pointed to the desk. A tall stack of books were put on one side of the desk, nearly tipping it over. A small piece of paper fell down from the stack.

"Yay. I'm dead. *noms on her chocolate covered pretzels*

"Homework? I didn't give any homework." Parkur stated.

"Something about a vacation..."

"Vacation? What vacation? Students are not allowed to leave school during the year, did you not read that in your handbooks?"

hopeless sighed. "Parkur, let's get to the infirmary first. We'll see what we can do from there." Turning to the students, she glared. "Go to your rooms. All of you. You hear me? Detention for all of you if one person is late tomorrow. Go."
