What's on your mind?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

You should watch an anime to make you feel better. I have this one here called "Grave of the Fireflies". I'm sure it'll cheer you up!

Yeah, and then after that I can watch the finale of Wolf's Rain! Then I can commit suicide and it'll be an evening well spent :D

Or I can stick to the original plan and watch St Trinian's next.

I still think it's funny that, if you go through a German school, you'll end up considering Amon a relatively nice guy (for a KZ commandant, that is), because you have read of examples far worse - which is especially ironic when you learn that the reason Amon is portrayed so "nice" is because it was thought that the actual, historic version would be considered unbelievable by American movie-goers. Well, that was averted, but now you've confused the Germans... XD
Same goes for most other breaks from reality that don't relate to specific characters. Well, if you spend several hundred hours studying the holocaust, there isn't all that much left to surprise you >.>
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

Yeah, I've read about him before... they really did tone him down a lot. I also remember being taught about Mengele in high school, and then later reading about even worse than him.

The nice thing about Schindler's List is that you kind of get both ends of the scale. Amon Goeth, even toned down, is horrendously evil, and, y'know, Holocaust, but at the other end Schindler himself is so ridiculously awesome in what he achieved and in that, in the end, all he did was beat himself up for not doing more... and then you remember that there were hundreds of others like him, who may not have saved as many people through not being as rich but still risked their lives to save people, sometimes for money, sometimes for no gain at all but to save someone. FAITH IN HUMANITY RETAINED, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

That's a great movie!  I never did see the sequel, though.

A dream apparently made me remember that I have an assignment due tomorrow. Feels weird to be doing school stuff while my mind has already tried to forget doing them. :x But I must say, the dream was pretty convenient.

I have about 4-5 days left and too much that still needs doing and I despise migraines, especially when they interfere with tasks I CANNOT delegate to Archi. Such as the sewing and the baking that needs done before xmas, not to mention the SS gift I have yet to come up with an idea for. ~_~*
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

Sent a mail to my Italian teacher (since she's one of the mentors of the class even though she's not my mentor) for hers and the other mentor's phone numbers plus the time we start tomorrow
I ended the mail in Italian, then I got a reply with everything in Italian even though she translated the time we start since we haven't come that far in the book yet :P
