Maybe there should be a rule for lovey -dovey concerning lynching like "ONLY successfully protected from lynching that it can't be use until 2 phases later"
Since this type of protecting sucks if you're town . Town on the other hand  you don't know which one will be killed before hand, it's a 50/50 chance. not to mention, if you implement the sniper killed the protector rule, then the Akonyl-commi case wouldn't be repeated...just a thought. Since I've realized, and also xpon have realized that, as town, if BO targeted you with a sniper, :V, and failed, they can easily killed you the next night XD. And by "you" I mean me :V

on the contrary, I think lovey-dovey is fine as-is, as the point of it wasn't to allow you to shout in public "I AM LOVERS WITH XPON" and believe you were protected because of it. It's just a little extra insurance to make sure you don't die *quite* so easily, and it works well if you don't go out of your way to make yourself as big a target as you have now (if you're actually lovers and not just BO :V).

As a matter of fact, the only reason it was introduced in the first place was because it was seen as too difficult for town/BO pairs to win, as for 15 or however many rounds, town/town pairs didn't have any method of protection at all and for the most part people weren't too worried, because two people is a pretty sweet deal when it comes to ability to gather information. So I'd be happy with the version you have now, if you really are lovers.

I'm confused, Kleene said if Calvados covered someone BEFORE, I'm assuming in a DAY phase, then he can use that ability the next night?
meaning if a sniper failed on Night 2, Calvados can cover that sniper on Day 2, then snipe me again on Night 3 assuming they even need to snipe me considering I'm basically unprotected XD LOL
