Mafia Round 44: Labyrinthine (Night 1)

Cutoff for actions is still the same time as normal though. I'll extend N10 afterward to make up for it, if needed.

Okay, decision reached: phase change ends 2 hours before normal time today.

As the sun began to set on the ninth day of wandering through the labyrinth, Luigi was the first to notice that the remaining people were getting very close to the end - in fact, they could see the exit!

As soon as Lucas noticed this, he grabbed Luigi's arm while R.O.B. grabbed Fox. "Not so fast. You guys won't be going anywhere. Your time is up."

Lucas was just about to throw Luigi down a pit they had narrowly avoided before, but just then, Fox broke free of R.O.B. and slapped a pair of handcuffs on Lucas' arms, and made sure he couldn't get free. Then, Fox and Luigi turned on R.O.B.

"We know you're one of them!" Luigi said, as they grabbed R.O.B. and fed him to a man-eating plant.

Fox and Luigi then left the maze together, wondering what was in store for them. As soon as they stepped out, the voice they hadn't heard in days spoke up once more. "Congratulations! You have made it through! There are... less of you than I had hoped to see, but no matter! Please, wait one moment while I bring you your prize."

Not a minute later, a young man wearing a t-shirt that appeared to say "hype" all over it showed up and handed Luigi and Fox a box and motioned for them to open it. Inside, each one of them had received a free hype t-shirt of their own!

Fox (Giogio/Yamato) looked a little confused for a moment, but shrugged and pulled the shirt over her head. Luigi (Yuriko/Shiratori) glomped Jd- and thanked him for the awesome gift.

Meanwhile, everyone else that had "died" showed up and gathered around - obviously, nobody had really died at all, they were just taken away to somewhere that they could no longer participate in the game.

Marth (Akonyl/Genta) was hanging out with Zelda (pofa/Ayumi) and they were talking about how they knew Lucas was evil all along, while Snake (Misaki/Agasa) kept an eye on them.

Ness (Aly/Sonoko) was chasing Princess Peach (Paix/Kid-Shinichi) arounding, shouting "KID-SAMAAAAAAAAAA!!!" and trying to catch him while Kid ran.

Meta Knight (breva/James), Bowser (aries/Jodie) and Link (Abs/Kir) were discussing how best to handle the Black Org. situation.

Dr. Mario (Kleene/Nakamori) tried to get Mario (Lynz/Takagi), Sonic (Kaito Lady/Chiba), Fox, and Luigi to join him for donuts, but Mario backed out because he was too busy pouting over not getting any of his kills done... turns out Takagi was a serial killer.

Ice Climbers (Mystery/Heiji) was being yelled at by Pokemon Trainer (Kiwi/Kazuha) for getting killed.

Samus (Parkur/Asami) was following Mario around, trying to trick him for no reason.

Ganondorf (Kain/Araide) was checking up on people to make sure they really weren't hurt.

Roy (Beastly/Ran) was running around wildly, searching for Shinichi, and thought she found him sitting in jail... except that was actually just Yoshi (Meme/Vermouth-Shinichi), who was too busy pulling the puppet strings on R.O.B. (Mr. Flix/Gin) to notice.

The rest of the bad guys -- Captain Falcon (miiko/Chianti), Falco (Detective Tommy/Akemi), Ike (BK201/Vodka), King Dedede (xpon/Pisco), and Lucas (Conia/Sherry) -- were being kept under strict watch so they didn't try anything funny.

Well, all except one, who had somehow broken free, but he wasn't getting off easy either. Toon Link (Kirby/Bourbon) was being scolded by Pichu (hopelessidiot/Okiya) for joining the bad guys.

And everyone lived happily ever after. Or something.
