What did you think of this episode?

If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

For a DB filler, I thought it was great. It had a bit of the old-school DB aventure vibe at times. Didn't like the ending though.

By the way you need to go read this thread before ever telling me I'm too critical again :

That's not a bad thing. :P

I'll admit I was reacting rather poorly to people who didn't have suggestions for improvement, but I've learned that there don't need to be, all the time, or even some of the time. Sometimes, one just needs to speak about the mistakes/shortcomings/errors. I still prefer suggestions for improvement, though. It's why I now ask why all the time when I wonder about the reasons people dislike something. Don't you think that's better on my part then being passive-aggressively defensive when there is criticism?

Episode 795: The Secret of the Missing Young Lady

This was a fun little episode. It really was like the old Detective Boys episodes when they made some sense for the Detective Boys to be involved and it wasn't just a murder mystery that the Detective Boys happened to be around for. I mean, it's kind of a redux of the Ayumi Kidnapping case in a way, but it's more than different enough so that's fine. Though the most notable thing about this episode is that CONAN WAS WRONG. It's gotta be a Christmas miracle! Also, it's probably the best paced AO is a loooooong time.

Episode 796: The Lovebirds' Ruse

People need to stop falling on the camera.

I like how she said he was her husband, and Takagi then had to explain that that's his wife.

Well...that was a dark episode. I feel like it should've been more interesting than it was. A comment on Crunchyroll actually had a great idea. "Who wanted the cigarette she smoked at the end to be poisoned for a nice twist?"

It could've been at the beginning, as well.

Episode 797: The Dreaming Girl's Confused Deduction

"Detectives don't help stalkers."

I feel like I am watching Bizarro TWGOK. What is even. "INSPIRE"

THEY USED THAT SONG THEY NEVER USE AND THEY ONLY DID IT FOR 10 SECONDS

Apparently, she is delusional. ........................huuuuh

...and now she is failing to get paper. I might agree with everyone else's reactions to this. GO INSIDE AND IGNORE.

"Something's not right." That's a bit of an understatement, Conan.

"I don't know what's happening anymore!"

Takagi would be a good person to take into this madness.

And to end this madness, the next episode previews has Top Man apparently. I mean...about time a MegaMan 3 boss other than Shadowman appears I guess.

According to the comments she's....MADOKA?! Well then...um...I guess they didn't waste her talents...I assume...

Um...y'know I think it says a lot about how formulaic this series can be when a fairly reasonable anime comedy episode is incredibly strange when put into Detective Conan. I don't know what the writers have been doing lately but if it leads to more stuff like this, I'll be happy. It was so odd...but an AO that's odd is usually a huge breath of fresh air compared to most filler, so I'm loving this. If this is the same writer/s as that Takagi episode, GIVE THAT PERSON A RAISE RIGHT NOW. I would not mind if they somehow bring Funachi back. She was fun, which you can almost never say about AO characters. So...yeah, thumbs up from me.

They had the guy who would go on to write Kamen Rider 555 write an early ep (I want to say ep.6). Maybe they should have him come back.

I don't really know where to place this inquiry, but does Gosho have a say in the decision regarding the voice actors of the characters? The middle school-aged kid Sera was hiding had a strangely mature voice (in my opinion) for his/her age...

Was that done on purpose? (We can't really hear that strangely mature voice in the manga lol) Or maybe it was to show the possibility of that kid being male?

Masumi is a girl.

Gosho liked this particular voice actress (http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Noriko_Hidaka), who was also in Ranma 1/2, where many other DC voice actors had experience, as well.
