if you have a laptop you probably have a fn key though, which you should be able to use to the same effect.

I have a laptop without numpad too, but the fn-key doesn't simulate one in the way it should, so that's not always the case^^

hm, never had a problem doin it with my laptop + fn key when I used one, so dunno what to say :V
