There's been numerous topics about Case Closed returning in the forums, and yeah, I have to agree it's too late, there's no chance a podcast is going to change Funi's minds after so many fans constantly ask for countless years.
The best bet is for Funi's license/rights to expire on Case Closed, so another company can pick them up, and hopefully just release subbed DVDs without the hassle of the dubs. The manga seems to be doing well as it hasn't stopped yet like the anime, so there is an indication that there are loyal fans. Who knows, Viz might pick it up since they have the manga as well.

Re: Case Closed Podcast
Oh, I REALLY hope not. REALLY REALLY hope not. Viz treats all non-Jump titles like shit. It will be worse than what Funi put out. I'd rather see it not be picked up by anyone than it being given that sort of treatment by Viz.ranger wrote: There's been numerous topics about Case Closed returning in the forums, and yeah, I have to agree it's too late, there's no chance a podcast is going to change Funi's minds after so many fans constantly ask for countless years.
