That's likely. After all, the majority has to vote for the winning option to have it win. And therefore the majority will have their chosen option win.
Or, to put it mathematically: The event of the winning is no independent of the events of choosing, and therefore P_{My choice}(wins) > 0.5 while P_{Not my choice}(wins) < 0.5.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'combatants'.  I can see your point if n is the number of voters.  As the number of voters approaches infinity, the chance of your choice being the winner becomes 50%.  On the flip-side, if there is only one voter (you), then the chance your choice is the winner is 100%.
