I kinda miss Kuroda already. About the chef, he doesn't have BO aura. Remember the case Red, White, Yellow, Subaru surely had different design and persona from the rest of other suspect.

Are you saying the chef doesn't? He has a Weird design that can look completely different once he keeps his mouth shut and takes the chef hat off, not a "normal" case character design. His shoulders seem to be pretty wide so maybe he's a largely built person.

In the raw, I can still see his tooth if he closes his mouth. Besides, I have hard time imagining BO No.2 work at a restaurant. I think it more reasonable if he/she infiltrates police of intelligence agencies if he/she is targeting spies in BO . Maybe I am wrong, but let's see what is going on.

Well we'll probably get an idea of what this guy is about when the last file of the case drops. If it's a cliffhanger with him, he'll be relevant one way or another.

Yes, Chances are that the chef might be rum disguised but still why would he disguise as a Restaurant worker besides even if he has a non working or artificial eye, I believe he would try to deceive it rather hiding it .!

If gosho wasn't misleading us or playing on words in the AC hints so Rum should have already appeared , and it's a lack of ideas to introduce Rum disguised as a cook after introducing bourbon disguised as a waiter so I don't think this person is Rum , however gosho didn't introduce a one case suspect before so I am hopeful that this new detective will lead us to something

The cook technically isn't a detective, he's supossed to be a fan of mysteries in general but it's but his hobby.

If Rum doesn’t employ disguises all the time, that there are three different descriptions alone might indicate that their appearance is somehow conspicuous, and if we assume that they agree on the artificial eye because it is actually there, the number two is probably handicapped enough for my taste. While I can imagine that Rum is something like an eerie-looking psychopath (as far as this is possible in a shounen series), I think that there is a fine line between a well-made lunatic whose somewhat disgusting look contributes to their dangerousness and someone utterly deformed who is more of an exaggerated caricature, and I tend to classify the cook as the latter.

What if it is his style, remember Capt. Jack Sparrow -Pirates of Caribbean He even had the same sort of attire. I am not saying he is a pirate but nah! he is just someone like a minor one to bring some twist in the story. I cannot believe the fact i stated earlier as well that a person who is 2nd in command of a top secret organization be disguised in a restaurant worker just for the sake of what? Finding Conan. Did he foresee that kogoro will STEAL the ticket and will come to his shop only. I think it is way to much to think as PLANNED

I guess now i have to change my views on him being RUM there is a possibility of him being.

And, besides, RUM is supposed to be a man to begin with, maybe a "femenine-looking" man but a man.

That asides, none of the cast made any special observation about her.

I was thinking about a possible mix-up between her and Billy, in terms of description. The only thing that's missing is the eye though... the cast doesn't have to always make a note of an important character(we never saw Akai getting Conan's interest, besides by being a suspect, in his first intro, we only got indications of his importance). Fusae was teased to appear and meet Agasa earlier than normal...

(not a serious theory though, just thought of her after remembering that she was referenced in the first Rum case)...

Maybe he/she thinks that the case's story is lame and of little interest: maybe they were expecting something far more plot-relevant and their expectations got betrayed hence their mood.
