Looking forward to the next episode. Feels like it's been A DOG'S AGE AS NARRATED BY JIM HENSON since the last one.

apparently, no matter what show Cuddy's in, she's attracted to Holmes or Holmes-based characters.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that.Akonyl wrote: apparently, no matter what show Cuddy's in, she's attracted to Holmes or Holmes-based characters.![]()
I have to say I've been bored the past few episodes lately. I've been figuring them out too easily. This latest one threw me for a loop until towards the end.

^ I agree, I think Sherlock is not going to take drugs anymore, the way he is in the show, I think he has enough control over himself not to do that again.
Don't worry Maître Détective, if it's not Sean Bean, then you're safe, besides, Sherlock without Watson would probably never get anywhere!

I disagree, I think he might go back to drugs but use a diluted solution. You know... Like a 7% solution ;-)

normally I'm not the type to rag on product placement, but when Sherlock set up the Win8 tablet I just cracked up. Gotta zoom in on the features!

It's funny how Gregson is treated as a complete idiot by Holmes in Sherlock but it's the opposite in Elementary where he treats him with great respect

Re: Elementary (CBS)
Gregson is quite boss-like in this series. It's really hard to manage having a police character that people actually find engaging when there is (naturally) a far superior investigator around in the detective, but the dichotomy and division of labor between Holmes and Gregson here works well. Holmes actually trusts him to get the job done, which does mirror Gregson's role in the original stories well enough.
I think my favorite bit of interplay between the two was when...
The recent episode that focused on Gregson's past was a great indicator of their compatibility and also their differences, especially since Gregson still didn't have to look like the fool (which I think would have been the more common approach in most other stories of the sort).
