It didn’t take long for the door to open and more official looking people to come in, Sherlock nearly protested at the body being taken away, but settled with sulking like a 5 year old who’d had their toy taken from them.
The group with the Doctor and the couple just watches and John can now see why his friend had been acting that way earlier, the detective been suspicious of them and he can see why. No one should react that way to... that, to a dead body appearing from nowhere and he finds himself wondering why...
No, John thinks, he’s being ridiculous now, it’s like the time with the hallucinations and he won’t lose his calm again. There is a rational explanation for all this, he just has to wait for Sherlock to find it.
Besides, it’s not like it can get any worse at this poi-
His thoughts are cut off as he hears a scream from the other side of the room (something he’s becoming a bit sick of by now) and sees three bodies fall down on one of those moving the guy he’d mentally nicknamed ‘Okiya’ even though they weren’t sure it was his name.
John marches towards them himself this time, determined to defeat this horrible, twisted joke that God was playing on them; he checks all of their pulses, no longer surprised to find out they’re all dead and closes the eyes of the last one, a young Japanese girl.
While he has been doing that, Sherlock had knelt beside him, extracting carefully folded pieces of card from their stiff hands, he reads them out, “Lynz KID-Yamato, xpon... Korn and, the last one says Gio Ayumi, hold on, there’s something on the back, Mi..s...ki ar...sted?â€

Well, all I can say is that I am not BO. No idea why Xpon didn't want Haibara to follow me but it was either to confuse her or to prevent me from finding allies. Anyway, since it is night I guess there is enough time to confirm that I am a genuine townie.
