Well, you could scroll up a bit and you would have noticed my thoughts on this part. All the other 'clues' or 'items' left in the house including the books, bookshelf, the yacht were tipped over by the earthquake indicating how strong and intense the quake must have been. Yet the 'bird' and the 'glass' holding the toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom were left standing. Now how could that have been? Unless their bottoms were glued so they could not be tipped over; otherwise, the items must have been picked up by someone and placed in their 'original' position rather than scattered on the floor. All the other 'clue items' were tipped over, so the event of Maria's 'treasure hunt' must have happened prior to the Earthquake. Yet, only the last\latest clue of the bird and glass were left standing, indicating it must have been returned to that state AFTER the Earthquake. Now the question is... who could have done this? If Maria went missing before the Earthquake happened, then she could not possibly be the one who did it. Could it be that there is someone else in the house who 'took care of the bird'? Could it be a trap\setup to lure the young detectives? Will have to wait for the next file to find out!

Do you mean the 3 week that turned into a 2 month break, which was about 8 long weeks break ?
If that's what you mean, then yes, it has ended with a file 1007 release, last Friday we got text spoilers and Mon.\Tue. we got some pics

We have a break this week, and then we get 1008 on double issue 3\4 and we have a magazine break, we are still unsure when 1009 will be.

Yes, the three week break had been extended to nearly 2 months and then 1007 came out with-in the last week. Then we get another break.
1006 was officially released on Oct 04
1007 was officially released on Nov 29
1008 will be officially released on Dec 13 (and we will probably get spoilers a few days before that)
I hope that I can find someway to contribute to the community even if it's just random crack theories and looking things up for people who can't find the information they need.

For the part with the drinking bird. The solution might be that u simply fill the glass with water and the arrow changes his direction due to refraction.
While 1,008 is still going to come out this week, DC will go on hiatus after its release. And this new break may be just as long or longer than the break we had between 1,006 and 1,007—or just as long or longer than those two long breaks we had in 2015 (between 920 and 921 and between 924 and 925).
Apparently this hiatus is due to a health issue on Gosho's part—which is also what caused those long 2015 breaks.

@Kor: I also saw your speculation in the chat, that Gosho might have originally intended to end this file differently, but changed plans because of his illness. (Because the art looks like been drawn by his assistants again.)
(I really hope that I've been looking to much into asking myself why Gosho always has worn a hat during interviews/TV Appearences dueing the past few years...)
