I don't want to know any spoilers about Rum...like who is he or who he maybe...but i want to ask one question ???

Rum has strong built, feminine and maybe old...as per Haibara..this is the only thing I know

Did Gosho ever said that Rum has already appeared before(the episodes even before Haibara mentioned about him) ???

just want to know..so that i can shortlist my suspect list ;)

thank you :)

Well we can't say it as a proof due to his LUM-RUM pun? !! If he has then maybe.!!

He said that Rum has already appeared,... HOWEVER....during that time, he drew "Lum" dressed as a BO member(to make a pun on the pronunciation of "Rum"), so it's assumed by many that it was joke referring to the "Rum"/"Lum" that he drew recently(at that time), not the actual "Rum" from DC.

It's still a possibility that Rum has already appeared before the intro of the main Rum suspects, but we can't rely on what Gosho said. The fact that it would mean that Gosho ruined the mystery of the Rum arc if what he said is true, I think it's more safer to bet that Rum didn't appear before Rum arc suspects appeared.

From my point of view this is incorrect.
Ai clearly states that it´s possible that these descriptions are...

1. only rumours
2. only related to one or more bodydoubles of Rum.

I also read the term "bodydouble" not as a doppelganger-type of bodydouble, but more as someone else pretending to be Rum.

Since Conan keeps mentioning the descriptions, it´s kinda clear that this riddle will be solved somehow.
But to say that Rum has to fit all three descriptions ... well we cant say it for sure by now.

To go one step further:
Im not even sure about the eye-comment. For me its still open if the witnesses saw Rum himself or the same double
(which combines the three descriptions) who has one eye missing.
But i guess the mentioned pages are up to interpretation.

My guess by now (obviously a gut-feeling-based guess):
Wakita combines all three descriptions and has a missing/fake eye.
Wakita is Rums bodydouble.

His dad was the original Rum, Ryusuke never met Shiho while she was in the BO. When Rum 1.0 died, the Boss kept it a secret because fear of Rum was what kept many of his subordinates in line. Instead, he claimed that Rum was given a long overseas mission, and in the meanwhile he had Ryusuke trained to one day become Rum 2.0. Only recently did he become ready, after which it was claimed that Rum had returned to Japan, and upon hearing this Kir sent the text to Akai.

The message U MASCARA had two possible meanings: the first was ASACA RUM, which implicated Asaka in the murder and made it look like he was Rum. For this reason, the BO didn't tamper with the dying message. However, it could also read SACA RAMU. This is based off of Romaji rendering of the English words soccer (sakka) and rum (ramu). That is, "soccer rum". Kohji was hoping that one day some brilliant detective could figure this out and avenge his death.

I'm aware this theory more likely than not is totally incorrect, but it's technically a feasible resolution to the Rum arc.

To think of it! your RUM 2.0 theory seems to set but i dont' think so with Ryusuke Higo. he would have barely gotten any time for that purpose. And Soccer Ramu well you are that brilliant detective cheers to it. And besdes as long the football world I know, to kill someone 17 years ago, ryusuke would be 4-5 years old.I don't think so that the boss would be so desperate to make a 5 year old kid his 2nd in command. Meh.!?

Lets back your theory up with some suspicious moments:

1. CH927 P1
"Italian Aska" was the name of the restaurant.
Asuka was the name of the victim.

Some kind of foreboding to Asaka?

2. CH887 P16
Higo´s favourite song is Yokos "Dandelion". This can be understood also as "Dandy Lion" according to Conan.
"Dandy Lion" is better known as "Cowardly Lion" from the wizard of Oz.
Dandy Lion is described as loyal but ...
"... he lacked the nerve of a lion and was instead a mouse. "I'm afraid there's no denyin' "

Losing nerves?
... and maybe messing up sth? Like the Haneda-case?
" Pirates spirit is such a weak horse " = " Rum is so weak / has weak nerves" ?
Might kinda fit.

3. CH885 P7
Higo is part of Big Osaka.
They took the second place in the inter-high.
Big Osaka = BO = Black Org - allusion?
Possible.

It´s kinda weird that Conan mentions that Higo went to a school in the Kantou-region and dont "solve this comment" as if
it´s up to the reader to understand the meaning of it. But im not sure about this.

4. Image

There are even some receipes which use Rum to caramellize onions.
Rest is self-explaining.

[x] MG = Mrs. Akai
[x] Haneda = Brother Akai

Even so, he should've been made aware of what she looked like, being the second in command, at some point before her "death" in Mystery Train (File 818–File 824/Episode 701–Episode 704).

So Hidemi/Rena/Kir knows that he's Rum? When did she find that out?

to clarify, the image of Lum as a Bo member was actually drawn in 2011

the AC hint and File 906 drawing of Lum were both in 2014
I hope that I can find someway to contribute to the community even if it's just random crack theories and looking things up for people who can't find the information they need.

One more important thing:

The NY/Golden Apple-Case is approximately 1-2 years ago (given Shinichis and Rans appearance).
In this case Vermouth at one point was disguised as Radish Redwood, the police-captain.
The important point is, that when she pulls off her mask, she actually is old.

I dont think at that point, that she had a second ("old") mask on her.
I dont think that she had some "old looking" make up on her either.
That means Vermouth actually at that point, was old.

Sharons age was never mentioned but since Chris was introduced as 29 years old - to keep up the disguise it must have been logical
for Sharon to be atleast 20 years older -> about 50.

So Sharon was old - but now she apparently is in her 20s/30s - and NOT a kid.
So she must have taken either APTX 4896 (with another effect on her) or one of the drugs Haibara mentions at CH 948 P 4.

What I want to say:
Vermouth is the living proof that there is no way to guess Rums current age.

And if someones counter it with "Rum had no reason to take the drug" then you might tell me why Vermouth took it.
No answer will come, since noone knows it.
So it´s kinda brave to rule out that Rum took it.
Just sayin..

He may've seen pictures of Sherry taken a relatively short time prior to her defection, but he wouldn't necessarily have any idea what she looked like as a child. Even if he did see a picture of 8 year old Shiho at some point and then recently saw Haibara, he might not necessarily make the connection. For example, Haibara has a perm, which to my knowledge isn't really a natural human hairstyle (see movie 5). As such, she might've had a different hairstyle 10 years ago. Or, Higo might be bad at remembering faces (see Gin, episode 345). Or, even if he thought Haibara looked just like young Sherry he might just think it's a coincidence, since the BO apparently doesn't know about the secondary effect of APTX-4869.
As far as Kir is concerned, what I meant to say is that she would hear that Rum supposedly returned to Japan (I imagine word would circulate among the Black Crows pretty fast).

When Shiho/Ai says that "they know my youthful face," I doubt the BO's second in command, new and young or otherwise, would be excluded from that.

I severely doubt 7 year old Ai Haibara looks anything different from 7 year old Shiho Miyano—look at 7 year old Conan Edogawa and 7 year old Shinichi Kudo.

Yes, they don't know—if they did, they'd be hunting Shinichi/Conan and Shiho/Ai down. But who's to say someone as smart as Rum is supposed to be—as smart as the BO's second-in-command should be—wouldn't at least think twice about someone who looks that similar to a traitor, and one who had such an adult outburst during the encounter (File 927, Page 13/Episode 823, 18:54–19:24).
