What I saw from some spoiler pictures on tumblr, Kogoro eats some random mushrooms and gets sick... I don't know what to think about it.

Spoiler: Description of File 931

File goes like this :
-First page is a movie scene with Yoko and zombies.
-Second page is the front page we saw.
-Third page is Kogoro/Ran/Conan in the car talking about, I think, the movie.
-Then they arrive to a manor and Kogoro excited starts taking pics...Don't know why but I imagine it's because Yoko was there for the movie.
-Heiji and Kazuha arrive and they talk about some guy that found a body under his car and then mention zombies. Don't know how they go from one to the other.
-Two guys in a van arrive followed by a 29 year old women, a 30 year old camera lady and two more 29 year olds, a man and a woman.
-The 30 year old from the van talks to the last 29 year old guy with a threatening look on his face and has a sealed letter in his hand.
-They are in the manor and Kogoro comes out sick from the toilet because of the mushroom thing. He's then put in bed.
-We then see a scene with the first 29 year old women holding a blade...but turns out it's actually just being filmed.
-They talk for a few pages then find the first 30 year old from the van dead with a phone in his hand.
-File ends with Heiji picking up the phone.

File 931 summary:

After watching the cinematographic masterpiece (otherwise known as a C-class horror movie) Zombie Blade - Dinner Party of the Departed starring Okino Yoko the night before, Kogorou takes Ran and Conan on a 'pilgrimage' to one of the movie locations (a rental villa out in the woods). There they happen upon Heiji and Kazuha, who've come to investigate a Zombie sighting referred to them by Otaki-han.

A couple that's acquainted with Otaki had also come to the villa on a pilgrimage and had seen (and run-over) a zombie there - complete with the smell of rotten flesh and a broken neck.

While Ran insists that she wants to leave this awfully scary place, the director of Zombie Blade arrives with his team. They're there to film the trailer for a sequel!

Unfortunately, the sequel won't star Okino Yoko - the agency apparently didn't approve. Instead, the sequel will be about the cousin of the character originally portrayed by Yoko. Said cousin inherits the magical Zombie Blade and steps into Yoko's zombie-slaying footsteps.

On the movie staff we have 1. The obnoxious leading actress Ria, who'll probably be the second to die (AN: pure speculation, naturally), 2. The guy in charge of sound (with self-esteem issues) (Ninomiya), 3. The camerawoman (Ejiri), who totally wants to kill the actress (but hey, someone else might get there first)...
4. The woman in charge of lighting (Baishou), who just wants everyone to get along, or something, 5. The producer, Harawaki, who's a bit of an ass, and thus dies by the end of the file (spoilers!) and 6. The director, Naitou.

All but the director were in the horror club at university together.
Their club president was the director's younger brother (!) and is dead (*gasp*). No brownie points for guessing the motive here.

Also, Kogorou ended up eating a poisonous mushroom on the way to the villa by mistake and is out for the count (but probably won't die, says the doctor the walking Wikipedia otherwise known as Conan).

While Kogorou is resting, the others get to see some awesome horror movie filming. All is well, until the crew breaks for dinner and notices the producer isn't there. Turns out he died and is lying around elsewhere in the villa.

His dying message? The smart phone in his hand is filming... what could it possibly reveal?! (Again, no points for guessing that it's a zombie )

This reminds me a bit of that alchemist case in Kindaichi where the teen idol Reika was there, and it's funny how it's supposed to be Yoko there but Gosho switches her with a character that can potentially be the culprit or a murder victim. Pretty cool.

Then there's the director's expression on Page 15. Most likely, he's thinking about the catalyzing event that the murderer will cite as the prime reason as to why they carried out the murder—could be his son's death. So will the director be the next to go? That is, if he's not the murderer, himself.

This comment is a reply to someone at DCW, but I wanted to post it here anyway.

I don't think they are necessarily planing to dress up as a zombie to kill someone, I think they are using that disguise to implant the idea that zombies could be real. Which means that there will be another murder, and it will somehow be blamed on the "zombie" of the first guy that died.

Kogoro's poisoning could be case related, but at the same time it would be kind of awkward since the mushroom he ate was something he picked up on the side of the road somewhere between Tokyo and where the characters are now. We don't actually know where they are, so that could literally be anywhere at this point.

The victim looks like he could have been poisoned or strangled. Since there isn't any of that foam that Gosho sometimes draws in the victims mouth, I don't want to think that its poison. I have a different question... what is that other object next to the victims hand? There is clearly the phone in his hand, but something else just beyond where his hand stops.

Also If the victims room and the room Kogoro is laying in have the same layout, given the way the victim is collapsed, his cellphone camera would have been aimed at the blank wall opposite his desk. Most likely if he does have a zombie recorded on his phone, it was a recording of a recording aimed at the wall.

I really don't know what to think about this case. I mean... Supernatural occurences with Heiji. Again? There has been Yuki-Onna, the spider-queen-attic-mansion thingy(SHINE-case), demon dog, I guess FuuRinKaZan could also be counted, Vampire Mansion... And now Zombies...
