If anything plot related is going to happen, it's going to be a Kuroda appearance and/or Heiji trying to involve himself in the Rum business. Shinichi/Conan has never told Heiji to stay out of an investigation—not with Vermouth, Kir or Bourbon. His involvement in the former two proved to be crucial. Him getting involved in the BO plot is long overdue, after nearly ten years of pretty much having nothing to do with it.
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”
“Education never ends... it is a series of lessons, with the greatest for the last.”

Spoiler:
Also, Kuroda is in the police, Heji's dad is very high ranking wouldn't he be able to get info on him to Conan?

Spoiler:
Sure, they could get info that way, but Conan and Ai have ruled out Kuroda as a BO agent and as a threat in general, so they have no reason to investigate him.

He still knows that Conan is the brain of Sleeping Kogoro and has a suspicious background, I think as the story progresses he will do more suspicious things which would lead Conan to investigate him.

Spoiler:
Well, Kansuke has said the same thing about Conan in the Red Wall Case and Yui told Conan directly that she is pretty sure that Kansuke really wants Conan's help and not Kogoro's, but yet still, Conan hasn't investigated him or been cautious about him. So, Kuroda would have to do something suspicious in this case first, to get into Conan's investigation zone.

That's the Demon Dog Murder Case (Files 734–740).

Heiji cases typically are. 2013's (Drug Trading Case – Files 879–881) was an exception. Look at Demon Dog (734–740) and Vampire Mansion (834–840)—they're two of the only three seven-file cases in the series.

Mind if I ask why? No development or improper use, for example? You make it sound like there was a point where you drew the line. If so, where was it?

based on the three spoiler pages that were put up on Baidu,
it looks like Kogoro has eaten part of a poisonous mushroom and becomes bedridden
Also on the very edges of the picture, it looks like you can see at least 2 female suspects, one of which has glasses
