I knew it was a Prima Aprillis day, but I didn't take into the consideration that the mixed names was a joke, not the issue, so you still fooled me , though now when I think it was quite funny to read see Eisuke name, instead of Conan's.

In the Conan VS Heiji case, Ran and Sonoko already knew Agent Camel. Were they ever shown to have been introduced to one another? If yes, in which file was that?

@Max1996: Ran got introduced to Camel on the Red Shirts case when he was along with Jodie: but Sonoko never met him, I think. Maybe Gosho didn't bother to look back at Camel's appearances and thought Sonoko had met him too. But does Sonoko explicetely call Agent Camel by name? Maybe Ran told her about Camel off-screen and that's the answer to this little enigma.

Little error on my part: I looked over the specific manga files, to notice that Sonoko doesn't even appear during the Conan VS Heiji case. Oopsie .

Ever since I watched the "Making of Detective Conan" special, I've been wondering. In that special, the method of animation was shown to be: first drawing and then animating it. Do they still use this method now or is it all-digital?

@Max1996: Hmmm... A quick read on Wikipedia seems to suggest that computer-using animation has a dominant role in anime nowadays but I'd have to research deeper to give you an exact answer. But I guess that, yeah, most of the animation nowadays is done by computer. Guess there might be some hand-drawn storyboards before the animation is produced.

Maybe someone else can provide a more detailed answer.

They use cels in that special and they don't use those anymore. Also, I think they draw on tablets nowadays.

They use drawing tablets, animation cells are not used anymore. But they do draw the model for each character by hand on paper sheets. They also draw some keyframes by hand before re-drawing them with a computer. Then, they just draw the next frames on the computer without drawing anything on paper.
I've bought some of these paper drawings, just ask me if you want a picture.

Hi!

Hope someone can help me with this. I just watched episode 770 and something weird happened. At the 6:19 mark, Bourbon asks Conan if he knows a man named Kusuda Rikumichi. Apparently Conan does know him and what happened to that person judging by what conan imagines. The thing is... I've seen all episodes, movies (expect 19) specials and OVAs and I don't remember that character they are talking about....

Does anyone know when did that happen?
I may have forgotten if its something from a very old episode.

The only strange thing that might be, but I don't think so, is that on episode 762 next episode preview, shows the next episode is about Mouri,"Happy New Year Mori Kogoro". But 763 is "Conan and Heiji's code of love". So maybe I missed an episode in between? I dunno.

As a note, in case it makes a difference I watch it from horrible subs. Crunchyroll is not available where I am from, nor could I afford it to support it if it was.

Rikumichi was from the Clash of Red and Black. He was the guy who snuck into the hospital to look for Kir. The New Years episode was a special and isn't counted in the episode count.

Kusuda is that guy with the neck brace Conan ran into during Clash of Red and Black arc when he went to the hospital to see Rena. (simply put)

"Happy New Year Mouri Kogoro" is a special and technically not part of the weekly episodes so CR skipped it, M-L will release it when it's ready.
