If people are interested in discussing the potential airing dates of future cases, it would be more efficient to do so in a thread dedicated to such topic (with a big spoiler warning). There's certainly no harm in such a thread existing, and it would probably be better than having a discussion here inside spoiler tags.

As far as AOs go, I think it's pretty certain we're gonna get the case based on the 2014 Mystery Tour sometime between mid November to early December, like usual.

Yeah, I think continuity is always a problem in Detective Conan, especially when it comes to plot-related subjects, especially the longer this anime lasts. Honestly if you ask people in Japan that tune into Conan weekly on TV, I wouldn't be surprised if they said they didn't know who Kir was. Heck, I won't be busting my guts out if they said they didn't know Haibara was Sherry xd Maybe I'm exaggerating the problem, though I think Scarlet Showdown loses about 99% of its meaning if the current audience haven't watched Clash of Red and Black and even a bit of Vermouth Arc, which is about... 6 years ago for the former and a decade few months for the latter?

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea for Conan to have an hour episode dedicated to a HUGE recap that summaries what happens in the 700+ episodes that's related to BO-plot. Like just briefly go through the plot and include a few reanimated scenes. It's cool to see a few of the more famous scenes of Conan in higher quality.
