If four accusations get one right and the other one wrong, and the fifth is wrong completely, that means that the two culprits are named four times between them.
Inspector Grosky is named 3 times.
Aryan and Loosha are named 2 times each.
Flora, Luke, and Janice are each named once.
Aryan and Loosha would work with 2 + 2 = 4 mentions, but then Janice's accusation would be completely right.
So it must be a 3 + 1...
Inspector Grosky and Flora? Nope, Luke suggested that.
Inspector Grosky and Luke? Nope, Flora suggested that.
Inspector Grosky and Janice? Yeah, that works.
Professor Layton wrote:Luke names Inspector Grosky and Flora, Janice names Aryan and Loosha, Aryan names Loosha and Inspector Grosky, Flora names Luke and Inspector Grosky, and Inspector Grosky names Aryan and Janice. Loosha can’t be found.
Underlined is Janice's lie and bold are all the correct suggestions.

What limits are you referring to? I am just doing my job.
~o~
We do not just back away because something could be dangerous.
~o~
Will I be not putting more danger to the people around me if I don't do anything? And that's no reason one should hide behind a mask.
~o~
I am not forgetting that someone did ask for my help in a letter, so I am not really stealing anyone else's job.
Layton looked out over the others. Grosky had a hand to his chin, while Luke crossed in arms, both obviously in deep thought. Loosha's head poked out of the water, her head tilted in confusion. Janice, Flora, and Aryan stood together the opera singer with a hand on the girl's shoulder. Descole was watching from the sides.
Aryan was the first to speak.
"So... you're saying we should just return without finding it?"
"Well, that is what I'm suggesting. It's up to all of you whether or not to follow it."
"I... I'd like to go back."
Flora stepped away from Janice to stand by the Professor.
"You said last night that you wouldn't leave if people wanted to stay, right? But... I don't want you to get hurt either, Professor."
Luke nodded in agreement and walked up next to Flora, Aryan smiling softly and following. Grosky held back for a moment, but soon sighed and joined them.
"It doesn't feel right to just leave things as they are, but I suppose leaving would be for the best."
Layton looked at the remaining two. Loosha looked a bit worried, eyes going back and forth between Janice and the group. The singer had her hands clasped in front of her and looked down at the ground.
"I think... I'd really like to stay, but... I don't suppose it's possible to ask you all to return while I continue to-"
Her words were cut off as her eyes widened. She raised a hand to the back of her neck in confusion before Janice(Yoko) fell to the ground.
Descole quickly went over to her, noticing a small needle where she had been reaching. It disappeared before he could get a closer look, however.
"...It's all right. She's just unconscious," he reported, gently putting her into a more comfortable position.
Layton sighed in relief and turned to the sea creature, "There isn't much you can do alone, as it is. All of your group is gone and, you not being human, information would be impossible to access. So, if you would..."
Loosha(Gin) didn't say anything. After a couple of minutes, she made a sad sound and hung her head before giving a nod and disappearing under the water.
-------------------------------------------------
From the shadows, a figure stood watching the group, a smirk on their face. When it seemed they woul indeed be returning, the person tossed a watch up in the air, catching it on a finger and spinning it when it came back down.
"Well, I'm glad that's settled. Now... I'm sure tantei-kun will be missing this..."
They turned, silently leaving the area, not noticing a top hatted gentleman and masked man look from his hiding place back to each other and sharing a knowing grin.
Summary: Loosha (Gin) was lynched and Janice (Yoko) was poisoned.
Spoiler: Janice's Will
Dear Professor,
It's been fun being part of this adventure even if it was just for a short while. Please have everyone listen to this recording... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyHfQiHiGs0
I wish everyone good luck and will be looking forward to seeing them all again, soon.
A Puzzler's Diary...
First Night in Japan
I have left Mr. Whistler a puzzle to solve, so, he might have been preoccupied with it and wasn't able to do what he was supposed to be doing that night. One thing is for sure, Mr. Whistler should have nothing to do with Mr. Ledore's unfortunate first night in Japan....randomness wanted me to give the puzzle to officer Barton but in an attempt to stick to the storyline, i decided to give it to Mr. Whistler
Second Night in Japan
I have sent the same puzzle to Don Paolo. Unfortunately, that didn't stop Mr. Anton's departure. ...out of the four people who haven't said a thing since the game started, two of them voting on the first day, i decided to catch the attention of Don Paolo, still trying to stick to the storyline ...sure enough, he's been making quite the fuss since then
Third Night in Japan
I decided to send the same puzzle to Mr. Bronev. To my surprise, nobody was harmed! Ever since the first day, Mr. Bronev has been acting suspiciously. He wished to have Mr. Whistler go back to London even though the latter clearly told everyone, publicly, that he was 'tricked'. On the second day, at the exact same time Ms. Angela announced a lead on Don Paolo, Mr. Bronev contacted me asking for... new leads? Had he not seen Ms. Angela's call?...now, did i answer Mr. Bronev's question on what made him suspicious in my eyes? in the short time that i have playing, i learned that day 1 votes are the most interesting and exciting of all! i have been-...i'd be happy to continue this part but i should just wait 'til the end of the game, or you could contact me, Mr. Bronev, if you want to hear it sooner
Fourth Night in Japan
I'm not entirely sure what to make of the events of yesterday. I will be sending the same puzzle to Mr. Bronev tonight. Hopefully, he hasn't solved it yet the last time.
Fourth Day in Japan
I wonder if Mr. Bronev already solved my puzzle for the Black Raven just mysteriously disappeared. Or, it could be that Mr. Bronev wasn't last night's... killer. Together with the Black Raven's disappearance, my crown has vanished, too! I hid my car keys in it, so, I am now puzzled on how I am going to get home after this adventure. Ms. Emmy announced that we should vote for Mr. Bronev today. Though I am not against it since I've been wanting to vote him since Day 3 because of the Night 3 events, I wonder on what charges Mr. Bronev is being accused of exactly.
Fifth Night in Japan
I was right with my suspicions on Mr. Bronev! Now, what to do tonight... After weighing the possible things that might happen, I decided to send Don Paolo the same puzzle. Let's see what will happen...
Sixth Night in Japan
Very interesting... The person I trusted to give my Mr. Bronev lead is now being accused of something. I'll send my puzzle to Ms. Arianna tonight.
Sixth Day in Japan
Voted Ms. Arianna. Sad day. The only two people that I ever talked with disappeared at the same time. It's a tough journey ahead, but I will try to seek justice for the people who only wanted to enjoy Japan.
Seventh Night in Japan
A very... crucial night. Luke seems to have been very quiet this entire time. Maybe he could use some puzzle.
Seventh Day in Japan
I am sure I gave Luke a puzzle last night. So, unless the bribe that Don Paolo gave the professor and Mr. Descole is finally working... Then that explains Clive's departure. I will be voting Mr. Thunder today. If he really is a good guy, then I apologize. Maybe we could collaborate on a song together some time. Otherwise, please change your ways and just focus on singing instead of plotting evil plans with the bad guys.
Eighth Night in Japan
Another night... I'm getting worried that my puzzle is not very effective anymore. Maybe I should try giving it to the sea creature tonight... Loosha. If I can't even prevent an attack tonight with my puzzle, I should just really focus on singing... I'm sorry everyone!
Eighth Day in Japan
I can't believe Mr. Whistler disappeared just like that. I was starting to loose hope but thanks to the professor's puzzle, I kind of cheered up a little bit. I will be voting Ms. Katia today. If I am not mistaken, Loosha should be the last of them all. Good luck, all of you!
Ninth Night in Japan
Six people... Well... Five people and a sea creature... I'm going to give this puzzling business one last shot. Loosha, will you do the honor of solving it? I do believe that Loosha should be the last one. If someone is still attacked, I could only fathom that the bribe is finally working... Or...
Ninth Day in Japan
This is amazing! Could it be? Could it really be? My final vote goes for Loosha today. This was fun! And sad... And exciting... And awesome... Until our next adventure everyone! ...now, did you all saw my hidden messages?!
One last thing, the caped gentleman that ran off back to London the other night might have left behind this note to me at the start of our adventure: "I suppose you just couldn't escape from being a singer, could you? Though, I suppose you can confuse people with your sudden change in styles of song..."

Thank you very much to everyone who participated! We really enjoyed the game and we hope you did too as much as we did. I'd write a longer post if I didn't have to leave soon, so maybe it'll have to wait. Also, I'd like to thank my co-GM, not only for writing all the stories (yep, all credit goes to her), but also for making this game possible.
Both town and BO did a good job. It was really, really close a few phases ago, and we know both sides did their best. Good game, everyone!
Also, you may now post in the thread using your real accounts. You can still use the anonymous accounts if you want, though.

We've known Janice was Yoko for ages, and figured out Flora was Yuusaku around the time Akemi was lynched. Unfortunately we didn't get to poison both of them for reasons I won't go into right now.
Good job town. Even if I totally knew you were gonna win ages ago because us winning completely depended on one or more townies be inactive at opportune moments - and, of course, they weren't.
And now, from my real account because I already closed the other window and I'm too lazy to reopen it and sign in again to edit that post...
Thanks to the GMs. <3 The game was good.
Any gripes I had throughout the game (and everyone on my side knew I had gripes :V) were with specific people for specific reasons, not the GMs or the game as a whole.
