He's the male version of Ran, except he likes to stalk Sonoko and tells her what to wear and how to act, and he's 80% dumber. Also, it's a long distance relationship, so they rarely see each other.
I may not be a fan of him. Sonoko should just give up on the cheep Ran-imitation and date Ran.
