Hmm... I get you man... this is interesting...

We should also check what chapter was that standing okiya with his arms crossed, was it the right handed or left handed okiya? I dont think Gosho will show 3 identical scene, of akai, with different crossarms... That must mean that it is someone else... So I do agree with your points(except Amuro being fake, as theres no solid evidence yet)

If that Akai in the car is fake, I dont think that okiya is the real akai though(in this file)like others have pointed out, I think akai should be 'floating' just in case. So still think that Yuusaku is Okiya.

Okiya(in the file665) crossed his arms the same way Akai did in file 896...At that time Okiya was Akai,so I don't think there is a proof to show this Akai isn't the real one.
I don't see the point of having someone deguised as Akai...Anyway if in the next file we see Akai sniping the bad guys,you could be sure it's the real one XDXD

Q\ does the chapter title "scarlet return" mean :
1- the return of the scarlet (person or thing).
or
2- the return which is scarlet.

I partly assumed it was for Akai because scarlet is a shade of red :V

It's 2, just like the English title implies. It's the theme of the the Scarlet Series: Scarlet Suspicion, Scarlet Interrogation, Scarlet Return ...
That doesn't exclude that whatever returns is scarlet, of course, but it's not specifically implied.

Well said. Akai asking Camel to hold the car steady seems to imply imminent sniping. If we don't get to see some Akai snipe action next file, I shall be sorely disappointed.

maybe gosho is using reverse pschology.....
..he displayed the 'LIVE ' on tv not to confirm yusaku's alibi but to make us think yusaku is involved but in reality its only yukiko........
anyhow.......does anybody think the trick will be explained next file.....if so then i am more than ever hyped up!!!!!

scarlet is yusaku's novel, maybe conan using trick which written in the novel
