...Kogoro's mimicking of the culprit's voice when he was explaining his 'deductions'
...look at that mobile phone in the Next Conan's Hint compared to the now smartphones that Conan and others have

...so ice was used. dry ice to be exact. i still didn't figure out why the plastic bottle is a big hint until it was explained...

regarding the ep:
...706 episodes. lots of chances for someone to notice the 'sleeping Kogoro' but it has to be Bourbon and only Bourbon that had concluded that Conan is behind it all just from seeing a kid aiming his 'toy' towards the famous detective. oh well, i don't know what else he figured out but he can't possibly deducted that the kid is Shinichi just from that

You can't put ice only on one side of a vase!

Well, I was expecting something similar, which involved the vase being right on the edge of the cabinet.
And the dry ice wouldn't leave some mark on his skin, even if he's dead?
Oh well, if you ignore the inconsistencies, it's a really awesome case

Remember that Conan is a child. Most adults would think he's just playing around, so nobody would really notice.
Of course, the fact that Kogoro's not moving is kinda suspicious, but then again, he's Mouri Kogoro, he brags about how he solved the cases.

exactly! Conan is a child. so what did Bourbon figured out..? also, about the 'sleeping Kogoro', i tried his pose when he gets tranquilized (wherein his head is looking all the way down, mouth closed).. are 'his deductions' astonishingly enough for folks not to notice his mouth not moving(kudos to Sato for the only one noticing that).. and what's wrong with Ran..? does she not know her father well enough to tell that he changes to an awesome detective every time... or maybe she does know... oh..!

"Ice was involved" was not exactly the most unexpected thing. :p

I love Kogoro's sudden transitions to pretending to be the culprit and as cute as possible right back into his normal voice with no pause.

There needs to be more cases where the characters are actually allowed to kinda come to a conclusion with just some help.

...wait Bourbon knows?! ...why? How? Did I forget something? Should I look at posts above me for the answer? I dunno!

True, Conan is a kid, but... he assisted in so many cases in the past, helping Kogoro and other detectives out loud that barely anybody has issues with Conan wandering around the crime scene, pointing curious details about the body, etc. In the early episodes, Kogoro would hit him in the head and yell at him, but nowadays he doesn't seem to care anymore.

That goes with any sort of media out there, they've made them for us to enjoy.. And this is the way we watch Conan, it's not like it's CSI where you only have to follow the episode and wait for the next

True , And he shows a lot of points (as if no one will notice)for example when he tries to point out that it's not ice but something else (dry ice) He should know that bourbon figured that he is not an ordinary boy.
And bourbon now has Solid evidence -.-
