Ah.... I'm not really sure how much I like the idea of Awakening's DLC.... it kind of bothers me that there's already $50 worth of DLC out, plus from what I've been reading, it seems kind of like they saved all the creative non rout/kill leader objectives for the DLC. Plus, $2 a stage seems like too high a price point for what you're getting.

I think a lot of it was cheaper/free early on.

The first map with Marth was free for like a month or something, but that's it

Currently trying to decide if £5.39 for three maps is worth it. You do get extra characters for completing them, and the obsessive 'dex completer in me wants to have them all, but... MONEY.

the golden pack should be your top priority since the golden gaffe and exponential growth are both very useful maps once you can clear them comfortably

Money is something not many people have plenty of, lol.
I'm not buying DLCs, mainly because NA 3DS in Australia... so reeking boxes and spotpass maps are like the Mother Holle escorting them to victory.

Yeah... I just now realized that for the first few, the maps and music aren't even new, they're recycled from old games. So essentially you're paying for them to throw some NPCs on any old map. Not gonna bother. The Challenge pack looks pretty interesting, as well as the Future Past pack... I don't know if they're worth $6.50 though. I'll probably try Lunatic and Lunatic+ without grinding, just to see if I can do it. Would be a fun challenge, I suppose.

The ones I HIGHLY suggest:

Champions of Lore 2 (Best grinding map once your unit can survive a few hits, a sort of "set and forget" grind)
The Golden Gaffe (A lot of gold)
EXPonential Growth (Amazing for leveling lower leveled characters or things like Snipers and Archers)
Lost Bloodlines 3 (Double Exp skill)
Rogues & Redeemers 3 (+10 to all stats skill)
The Future Past I (Story)
The Future Past II (Story)
The Future Past III (Story)

One I suggest but aren't like, super amazing:
Champions of Lore 3 (All Stats +2 skill, good for grinding later on)
Infinite Regalia (Legendary Weapons, but often times forged Brave weapons are almost as good or better)
Lost Bloodlines 2 (Dread Lord class)
Smash Brethren 2 (Bride class)
Apotheosis (For the ultimate challenge)

Comes out to something like $31 for all that, I believe. At least, I used two $20 cards and still have $9 left.

I'll probably wait and see what else comes with Apotheosis, since I always enjoy a good challenge. Not sure about the Golden pack, but it might be nice to have if I decide Lunatic+ is just too difficult. I'll be pretty upset if Lunatic+ is essentially impossible without DLC though, it would be absurd to have to pay for something else to be able to win a game mode that was shipped with the game. As for the ones that are just for skills and classes, no thanks. Not worth the money.

Yeah, I didn't get beyond C for Owain's dad's support in my previous file, so it was nice seeing how it happens. I got it this time, but his dad is also Libra at the moment, so there's less impact. Knowing that though, I really cannot justify giving him the Avatar for his father. Just such a plot hole if done.

Told myself I wouldn't get Animal Crossing but I was too weak, not a fan of time passing in real time instead of using the Harvest Moon/Rune factory time system

And ah, played OFF last week. Late I know.

So I went and bought EXPonential Growth and it's now my favourite thing for training people with ranged attacks. Virion was still at about level 2 when I went in and three plays of the map later he hit level 20. They don't actively attack, so it's just the best thing for training underlevelled mages and archers \o/

Side note: As awesome as I'm sure Mega Man games were, I never had a chance to really play them... so instead the music just brings around I Wanna Be The Guy flashbacks ._.
