I'd say you shouldn't have, but it isn't like 3DS has a lot of options for good racing games.

Also, I beat Bioshock Infinite. Take a guess my reaction. You already know what it is.

Spoiler: Not actually a spoiler

In all seriousness, it seems like Parkur is playing the amazing NINE NINE NINE and I'm so proud of him I can't even.

I beat it yesterday. Quite wonderful, though I admit that I feel some of the praise for the game is a tad overdone. Honestly even when I took new routes, the main game before stuff exclusive to endings feels kinda weaker than it should and exists more to make the major endings great instead those parts themselves being all that compelling (outside of the first playthrough). Not to mention the inevitable repeating information, especially during the last ending, could get annoying. Also, I said screw it to the game's equivalent of a final boss and looked up the answer immediate because that is weeeeeak.

That being said, the first playthrough and all of the ending exclusive material alone makes the whole game more than worth it. Great stuff and I hope Virtue's Last Reward is even better.

To be honest, the whole "redoing the same things until you get to a new door" deal annoyed me at first in 999. VLR got rid of that, thanks to the flow chart feature. Overall, I enjoyed VLR much better: flow chart, more interesting cast, better gameplay, etc.
You definitely should check it out.

I've started a Dark Souls soul level 1 run... wish me luck >_<

I've made it to Sen's already, but I'm stopping off in the catacombs to get a fire weapon and the rite of kindling first (not sure if anyone here has played the game to know what I'm talking about though...)

The difficulty of Dark Souls shies me away from it, since I'm against throwing the controller at my TV :|

It really is an amazing game, you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not playing it. It might be my favorite game I've ever played, if not it's definitely top 3. The most important thing to note is that while it is difficult, for the most part it is 100% FAIR.
So you generally don't have cheap deaths and such, and it allows you to learn from each death instead of each death simply being a wasted opportunity. If you look at dying this way, it becomes much less frustrating, and extremely satisfying when you finally win. Which isn't to say that you wont ever rage, because I most certainly have over losing some 30k+ souls before >_<

I'm not sure bout the new ones, but I played my first md so often it now refuses to work for me :( *very sadface*
I hope the new one is any good, though I heard it wasn't... not going to worry bout that though, I'll see XD
It's good alright, but it's not as good as the previous ones. I rage quit for about 10 minutes when I found out you can only do one mission at a time.

Is it only me, or is this thread more about console games than video games in general? :P
(And mostly RPGs too, AFAICT, for that matter XD)
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

yes.

For RPGs, it's pretty likely because anime and JRPGs have become more and more similar so it makes sense I guess.

Don't worry, I'm a PC gamer too :P Haven't really been too many PC exclusives out right now that I'm interested in at the moment, though I play mostly on PC, except Dark Souls which I bought at console release.

I just bought Thomas Was Alone last night, and OMG IT'S SO GREAT.
I haven't played a game that fun since, well, Luigi's Mansion :P

I wish I were a PC gamer, but I can't afford to build one right now. My mac doesn't play that many games, either.

Finally beat the Dual Brachydios quest in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate just now. Only had to switch from Lance to Dual Blades (went Emiya on their asses), go through 20 high potions, 2 mega demondrugs and mega armorskins, 5 mega dash juice, and 3 regular dash juice. But I did it! No more wall! Though, of course, I got 1 fewer materials from the quest than needed to upgrade my Lance, but whatever.
