"Lupin the Third vs. Detective Conan: The Movie" In Theaters December 2013!

The first movie was okay, I guess, but somehow I cannot really imagine a second one. It sounds a bit weird. But it'll be cool I guess.

The first "movie" was a TV special. They churn out a Lupin III special every year. This is a movie and should hopefully have a bigger budget and better writing.

The Specials are normally in Dec anyway , it think. I wonder if this was expanded and went from being a special to a full blown movie.

I don't know if either of them are particularly team players in that respect... they're more likely to hilariously get in each others' way and spend ages pulling at each others' faces to make sure they're not a disguised Lupin or Kid.

I've always wanted Zenigata borrow the Kid task force to chase Lupin. Kaito would be dragged along by Aoko to cheer for her dad. Or Kid would show up with some paper fans to cheer on his taskforce. Then Sato can get mad a him.

I hope that the action this time around is centered more on Lupin and Conan's routines, instead of relying on them interacting through a third party. Having them cross paths through normal means would be more suitable for a movie, I think.
