Retirement doesn't always mean gone forever. :-X

My older sister's high school biology teacher retired sometime between when she was in 9th grade and when I was, and then returned to teaching biology (can't remember if it was full-time or as a substitute though) by the time Commi was in 9th grade. V:
There's a thing called professor emeritus.
She retired because she's 70 and has been with the University for 35 years. I think she's gone.

Pretty sure that Bio teacher I mentioned was working at the same school when my stepdad went there.

He graduated in the early 80s.

I saw a cute little owl roosting on a road sign while I walking from the bus stop to my college today. :D

Wasn't sure if this qualified, but it made me happy so I guess it goes in here :-X

So, got an extremely late birthday present (around 8 months late :x) and... it was a watch \o/, pretty awesome one too <3. The irony is hilarious though. *adds extra watch to wrist :)*

I was talking to the Study and Careers advisor today and he told me that they've fixed so my class will go to China in our third year :D :D
They've been wanting the Humanist class to go there for awhile and have been fighting to get the money and allowance to do so, and they finally managed to so we'll get to go to China~ So we'll be transfer students on a school they've had contact with :)

I mean sure, I just talked my way out of a class trip because I don't want to go on a sleepover with a bunch of idiots but hopefully I'll have learned to tolerate them by then plus it's an awesome experience since I'm going to read Chinese next year

Also my performance group is doing No Exit instead of Mrs Warren's Profession! I cannot express my joy at this :D

Passed the health checkup for work, well they still have to get the results from the drugtest but that shouldn't be a problem at all. So now I don't have to visit a doctor for the next three years \o/ (Or was it five?)
