What video games are you currently playing?

Nah ranger, haven't played em. I'm actually not much of a pogeymans guy, haven't touched the series since gold/silver. I was more of a dragon warrior monsters fan anyway

And by everyone I meant real people, not those reviewers that don't get a chance to play any game for more than a short while considering how they have to review hundreds of games each year.

I wasn't talking about reviewers either, just people on the other board that I go to. However, they do tend to be more negative than most.

I'm not a big pokemon fan either, I just love the classics however.  If you liked gold and silver..you should give it a try, they are the remakes (heart gold and soul silver)

well to be honest I wasn't a huge fan of g/s either, hence me stopping playing the games there. iunno, pokemon just doesn't interest me much anymore. The only pokemon game I've played within the past few years at all was pokemon snap for an hour or so.

Yay..I got xbox live gold renewed, time to play my 360..

I just played the demo for Brutal Legend...what a great game. Definetely buying it.  I dunno if you guys are savvy with video game developers, but the creator of this game, Tim Schafer (the guy who created the awesome game psychonauts), is a living genio.

Jack Black + Metal rock parody + Awesome writing = Awesome game.

games playing:

Modern Warfare 2 (360) - Im like..level 60 right now.  All I gotta say, is.. Ranger loves Akimbo Rangers.

Mass Effect (360) - did anyone else play this, or am I going too much into the hardcore field?  I'm replaying this game for the release of Mass Effect 2 this month...awesome

games on the backburner:

Half life 1 Source (PC) - I got this game during Steam's major sale during xmas break.  I'm like halfway through, i need to find some time to beat it.

Torchlight(PC) - its a diablo 2 clone that I pickedup for 5 dollars, its pretty fun, especially during traveling.  I need to put some more time into that as well...

Assassin's Creed 2 (360) - I got this for 40$ at Best Buy...I didn't like the first, and I don't think AC2 deserves the reviews its been getting.  Reminds me of GTA4 and how it got perfect scores even though the game wasn't that great.  Meh, good thing I got it for 40, or id be shooting myself for buying it @ 60.

Dragon Age: Origins(PC) - This game is f-ing awesome.  I've already beaten the game, but I need to go back and have multiple playthroughs.  I recommend any Western RPG fans to pick this up; it has a world that can be rivaled to Tolkien.


..Am I the only hardcore video game player out here?  :'(

New Super Mario Bros. (Wii) - Fun as hell, but DON'T play it with four people unless the other three have the slightest hint of what the hell they're doing. -_- The game is fun, but the controls take some getting used to at first.

The Legendary Starfy (DS) - Haven't played this yet, but I am about to. Is it good? I wanted to try it out, it looked really fun.

Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (DS) - Love the RPG Mario games (I really wish the Paper Mario series didn't completely downgrade when the Wii one came out,) probably will love this too.

Finally I've understand the importance of the amount of wages, working hours and food rations - you can see it quite clearly in the stats...
