Bastion worth getting on PC for 5 dollars?

Got through the freaking Gobi Desert in Golden Sun. God I hated that section. Half the time I'd stand in the middle of one of the stone circles and use the wee one's psychic powers to find out that I was standing on the bloody Sarlaac instead of an Oasis. And the big ginge would NOT stop beeyatching about how much his feet hurt. And then I had to fight a SODDING MANTICORE.

I've stopped myself from playing more until I do the essay. When it's done I'm slapping on that MST3K playlist and playing through the rest of this game. Surely nothing is worse than the damn desert?

Anyone have ARMA 2? Recently it has been getting a lot of buzz from this new zombie mod, and a 2 yr old game is now on the top of steam sales.

It's essentially a zombie mmo with the mod, ive seen some youtube videos of it..and it actually looks really damn fun, glitchy but fun.

(I am honestly preferring Xenoblade now. I even doubted this would happen despite being one of the game's biggest supporters, but I actually care about the main story in some ways (Skyrim beats it in sidequests, even with Xenoblade ending most quests as soon as you get the item or kill the monster) and it hasn't crashed and I have party members and they don't get lost or stuck for an hour. Seriously Bethesda, QA or GTFO.)

But seriously, both Skyrim and Skyward Sword should be my two favorite games from the past few years and both refused to not piss me off at times, but Xenoblade is just amazing. I can spend hours doing relatively little and still have fun. The most uninteresting parts of this game are better than the best parts in most games. In an RPG. It's like the best of both RPG types without most of its flaws. This game deserves to sell multi-million copies and it single handedly makes me feel vindicated for defending the Wii despite Nintendo's stupidity. Why are you not playing this game? If you've ever enjoyed either currently popular examples of an RPG video game, and especially if you are frustrated by most of what is accepted for most popular console RPGs/JRPGs (painful glitches/rushed development and horribly written story/characters/general bs, respectively), than you owe it to yourselves to own Xenoblade Chronicles. It is Chrono Trigger, but fairly open world. And with basically no glitches. It is a masterpiece of gaming design that comes around once a year at best. And I am saying this 16 hours in but likely only 1/5 or less through the story.

Skyrim kinda bored me actually, I took like a 3 month break from it, now only to go back to it.

Glad there's a fun game on the wii, but, wii still sucks

Played the demo for Batman Arkham City, and I gotta say the combat seems a little meh, I just found myself button mashing, no really intriguing combos

it's definitely a group game, but I played through solo through normal, so that people didn't inconvenience others by being like "I wanna talk to townspeople" or "I just want to skip all story", didn't group with anybody until nightmare difficulty.
