Dinner actually went very well today. The main meal finished cooking about five minutes before eight, so I turned off the heat and left the pan where it was. I turned the steaming veggies down from hi to simmer, made sure the table was set, and put the microwave-bag of rice in the microwave so that the only thing left to do was turn on the microwave and wait a minute and a half. When Archi arrived home, I had him turn on the microwave and bring the plates over to be filled up.
We had plenty of time to sit down at the table and eat together, and we had a delicious dinner that was all ready on time and plenty warm. I love having things work like this! Delicious, nutritious food, pleasant atmosphere, and companionship. It was almost like eating at a restaurant, except that I cooked and cleaned up, and it cost a LOT less.
Changed real name to the name the person is known by here. This is a post I put up on G+ and then decided I wanted to add to a journal as well. Rather than retype all that, I just did a simple copy-paste.

The Case of the Midnight Channel

If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."
