What video games are you currently playing?

I'm playing several games right now ~nya. First of all I'm trying to beat the hardest game from Prince of Persia series: Warrior Within ~nya. Then there's Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, which I'm playing for a hundredth time. And also Assasin's Creed, currently stuck at one of the last assassinations from Altair's memories ~nya. For some reason they ALWAYS manage to kill me! And before they couldn't even hit me ONCE ~nya! Well, anyway... I'm also playing Kingdom Hearts ~nya. It brings back fond memories... *recalls spilling hot coffee all over my ex-boyfriend's head* Yeah... Fond memories ~nya.

I wonder why he's your ex 

Myself, I've been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, and some of the first Kingdom Hearts game.

Tales of the Abyss.

I've been on a Tales kick since I recently finished Vesperia.

As someone who really enjoyed ME1 and ME2, Mass Effect 3 is a huuuge disappointment.

I mean it's still a pretty good game, nothing wrong with it - but its like CoD Black Ops or MW3.  They didn't change anything from Mass Effect 2: it's the same game, no innovation, etc.  It didn't have the same innovation from ME1 to ME2.

Plus, the story aspect has suffered so much.  The writing has definitely dropped the ball.  I'm sure you've heard of some of the controversy regarding the endings: Let me tell you, it's really bad.  No closure, plotholes, ambiguous, etc.

A poor choice for "fanservice" regarding the characters.  Some of the most favorite characters in the series don't become playable as a companion, and only make small cameos - while they introduce some new characters that are really boring and can't connect with the player.

The DLC controversy regarding day 1 dlc with content already on the launch game, and how they might of purposely left a bad ending to generate further DLC.

this is probably one of the funniest things I hear about the game. I doubt I'll play ME3 from all the flak it's getting in the areas that made me enjoy the first two games so I haven't been all that careful about avoiding spoilers, but when I heard that I just thought it was hilarious. I almost want to look at a screenshot if it but then I decide not to since that's just such an embarrassment to the series. I mean it would be one thing if it was just some low-quality render but a company like Bioware using a stock photo for something like that... :V

I wouldn't even play the game Akonyl- its just not worth the investment in money and time.  I don't know if this is the accused EA effect on Bioware, or its Bioware just declining.  SWOTOR was bad..Dragon age II I actually enjoyed but it got a lot of flak as well.

I think I have to cross out Bioware from my list of trustable devs (which is slowly shrinking)

maybe with enough DLC (snicker snicker, imply I care about DLC) it'll be the same price

this mainly amuses me because i spent over 100 dollars on a used copy of the first game and a slightly above average shooter (Vanquish) last year

speaking of which, playing the sequel to the best rhythm game ever. Cost 30 bucks.

I actually didn't pay for ME3 for "video game reasons".  But you should definitely shell out for ME2.  ME2 is great, one of my favorite games of all time, I went out and bought the collector's edition when it came out.  Just...don't play the third one.  After playing the second, just stop.
