for the most part this is basically the equivalent of a kid playing a DS when he's supposed to be sleeping. As long as they aren't dumb enough to keep the volume on and if they can hear their parents footsteps, they're still gonna keep playing their games and the parents will be distracted by mediocre late night shows. Oh but to make the metaphor more accurate (?) on the situation, the parent is the kid's dad, is an alcoholic and beats up his wife regularly. :)

It's not only the end of the DDL age, it's the end of the internet as we know it *overdramatic response*

I'm concerned because it seems that ACTA is going to be signed which means everything you have as internet traffic will be monitored to see if you download/upload copyrighted materials.

So, apparently there's a chance that all the data will be wiped from the MU servers at the end of the week. Though admittedly I used MU for non-legit use 99% of the time, that sucks for anyone else who actually used it for legit backup/file sending. Thankfully, all my backup on there is stuff I have elsewhere, so it's not a huge deal for me.

What's funnier is that it would be because of MU's inability to pay for their outside hosting, which is only because their accounts were frozen by the government.  :-X
