On topic, I think Mitsuhiko is a decent choice for Ayumi.

That isn't true. They may not be characters included in the story, but there ARE other boys besides Mitsuhiko. And why should she be desperate to date him? Why can't she fall for him, hmmm?

Well, this is coming from a person who obviously sees nothing wrong with Ayumi and Conan, my problem was that he found something wrong with Conan's Age and not Ai's, but the assumption she has nothing else basically means that it's different (though he/she never stated the second part, Chek did). Basically, she and he have to be together based on a predetermined lack of any option. Probably not the best way to look at my snear either.

You're just taking offense to the idea of someone not liking MitAi.

Taking offense? I sounded offended? O_o Is it the end "hmmm?" because there I was just trying to be cute. XP

But the point is that she is not limited to only Mitsuhiko, just as Conan would not be limited to Ayumi.

I could have sworn somewhere that Haibara said she did not have anything to return to. I could have SWORN she'd said that somewhere because I think I may have found it when just getting into DC or into MitsuAi. It may have been a movie or something, but if you think about it- what DOES she have to return to anyways? XD

If Ai was desperate then she could have any guy she wanted (she's beautiful, intelligent, and witty- she'll have her pick of the gander) she is not limited to just Mitsuhiko.

You shouldn't assume I'm taking offense to the fact that somebody has a different opinion than I do.

But back on topic:

I don't like Mitsuhiko and Ayumi together- it just seems awkward. XD They'd kind of be on the re-bound as it is and then on top of it Ayumi has made it pretty clear she likes heroics- in which Mitsuhiko lacks. He's all talk when it comes to THAT. XD

I don't enjoy the thought of Ayumi and Genta.... he'd crush her. LOL
But on a more serious note if I imagine them older it looks like it'll end in divorce. He's way too rude and he doesn't even pay attention to JUST Ayumi. I personally think he may end up like a food version of Kogoro. XD (Food instead of beer).

But Ayumi clearly has feelings for Conan and they share similar interests. Now Ayumi may change as she gets older- but the longer the Shounen Tantei Dan exists I highly doubt that that'll happen. She's gotten a taste of being a hero and helping others and she seems to love it. :3 And then we have soccer and the morals that fit so well- I think it would be the best option for her. :3
