PhoenixTears stretched her arms and yawned, looking around the ship, she turned to Demetri with a smile. "This has gone on far too long, Yuriko." The other girl just looked up, then back out into the water, letting the breeze hit her and closed her eyes.
"I almost didn't expect her to live all the way through." Yuriko said. She looked over to the cabin across from hers to see Lynz staring at her. "Undercover works well with her."
Demetri looked at the two women a bit confused. "What'cha two talking about?" He asked quickly a bit confused.
Yuriko watched the cabin a bit and smiled. "That little girl, who played her part well. There was a reason we were so nice to her..." She glared at the ocean, still angry with herself.
Demetri looked across the hall, " That's the one who's afraid of water and never leaves the spot she designated as hers during killings isn't it?" he asked.
PhoenixTears nodded, "That's her alright." She smirked, "A long time ago we took over that island. We decided to use that little girl as a spy, ne, Irish-chan?" She looked again at Yuriko.
"We have to get rid of the victims from the island." She whispered, still talking to the ocean waves. "We decided to keep Lynz, poor girl hated water and fish, but we decided to help her and teach her things. Wasn't sure she'd survive on the ship at least." A tear filled her eyes. Both Anokata and Irish had a heart, it seemed.
"We're about three miles away from the island, we should just leave them there. let them start a new life, who knows, we could take them over again." Lynz said looking at the floor still unsure of why she waa still alive.
Penelope was shocked, "and why bring the scrawny runt...and the screamer." She motioned to Lynz and then Yuriko with a death glare.
"Because I lived on that island before you stupid cow!" she said pulling out one of her throwing knives and glared back at Penelope.
Penelope was shocked and walked over to her pulling out her own knife. "How dare ye call me a cow, brat!" She yelled.
Stopwatch (Akai) and Meme (Araide) watched on as Lynz threw the knife with precision as the knife hit Penelope in the chest. "I did it because ye are." she said stomping on it.
Penelope was shocked as she lay on the ground, dying, coughing up blood. PhoenixTears grinned. "I knew you were a keeper from the start." She wrapped an arm around Lynz.
Yuriko sighed a bit. "Another body to throw overboard." She heard the little girl call mommy run out of her cabin. "Can I play with Aunt Lindsi again?" She asked excitedly. Yuriko rested a hand on her stomach and forced a smile on her face. "Of course, you can, my darling." She took the macaw from Koihime and perched it on her shoulder.
Demetri stared at the girl in shock as well "Ye, ye jus' killed Penelope." he said staring between the body and the girl. "I at least want the survivors let go." Lynz said.
"And Hayley's body too." PT said the same thing Yuriko was thinking, she gave the little girl a hug too. 10:45 PM
"She just got too close...I was told to kill her if she didn't..." Yuriko wiped a tear from her eye. "I still feel guilty for it..."
"Its your job, you were just doing what ya had to." PheonixTears said as they anchored the ship in front of their island.
"Eh, I know...Didn't know she was 'Metri's sister though. This is their stop." She sent the bird to check out the island in case someone was there.
The bird came back giving a signal it was deserted. The three villagers still alive Kirby, Stopwatch, and Meme all stared "You're really letting us go? Stopwatch asked.
Demetri nodded, "To fulfill a request."
"I still want the bears though, my Rufus needs friends....." Lynz said looking at the island she would have grown up on.
Yuriko stepped onto the island, went to her home and picked up a few things, the letter she left on the desk addressed to a certain person, putting a quarantine paper on the door and carrying the stuff back on the ship. Then each villager happily handed over their bear to get rid of the pirates. "We won't let anyone take over this here land."
"At least until its reinhabited." Lynz said happily bears in hand. She didn't have anything on the island anyway so she decided to stay despite her fear of water and fish.11:15 PM
A-Random-Vermouth_"It's good to have ye aboard my ship." Demetri hugged Lynz.
Yuriko smiled, carrying stuff from the old island, mainly little reminders of that person. "Come on, Koihime." She led the girl back on the ship. "Hey Lynz, could you share the bears with Koihime later?"
"Of course, anything for a wee one." she says. "I'll show her my collection." she added she collected the stuffed toys from past raids as well.
"She'll love it!" The blonde smiled a bit, playing with the bird. "Phoenix! Do you have everything?"
"Everything I need has been on the ship ta start with!" she said as they pulled up the anchor as Lynz took Koihime to her cabin to show off her collection.
Koihime happily followed, sadly understanding the fate of her father wondering if his bear would be there.
"I wanna give ya something." Lynz said pulling out Conias bear. "This was you're daddys, I had to get past my fear of water a couple minutes to get this back." she said shivering.
She took the bear and cradled it in her arms, then hugged her Aunt Lyndsi. "I can keep him!" She said teary eyes. "Thank you so much!"
"Don't worry about it, you can take any of them if you wish, I don't mind, no taking rufus though." she added.
"He's my favorite."
"I promise I won't touch Rufus! They are really adorable." Though she held Conia's bear tightly.
I got him from my parents before your mommy started taking care of me." she said. "Its the only thing of my real family I got left. That's why I gave you your daddys bear."
She hugged Lynz tight, and started to cry. "I do miss him a lot. Mommy does too, and she wants to microwave Mr Akonyl!"
She looked out her door to see Yuriko also with tears in her eyes. "I know ALL about that." she said laughing.
"She cries a lot now, mommy. And looks off into the sea all sad." She giggled. "He would deserve it."
"Come on let's go see if Demetri needs any help with anything. Help me being an honorary pirate for the day." Lynz said taking Koihimes hand.
She walked out, giggling and holding her hand. Yuriko nodded them and wiped tears in her eyes, pointing to her boss since she had to go speak to her.
"Auntie Lynz said tha...." Koihimes voice faded as Yuriko walked to PhoenixTears. "I wanted to talk to you about something." she said.
"What's up, boss?" She asked, shifting shoulders for her little parrot. She looked back, they were like sisters for the longest time.
"I'm leaving." she said softly. "I found somebody, and he wants me to be the first mate on his ship." she added.
Her mouth fell open. "You're really lucky to find someone on these tides."
"I thought so too, you have a little family here. I'm just intruding on it, and that's why I'm passing the leadership role to you."
Her mouth fell open, though wanting to protest about the family part since it ended up torn apart by none other than Gin himself. "If you ever need anything just write, b...boss." Her mouth quivered and she hugged the woman.
Another ship came up next to Demetri's "I'll see you." she said as she switched ships. Abs took PhoenixTears in his arms. Yuriko smiled and waved. "Why is Auntie PT leaving us?" Koihimes said all tangled up in a rope. Lynz standing behind watching as the ship left with her adopted family member.
Yuriko leaned down, giggling as she undid the rope on Koihime, she was still clutching the bear. "Demetri, me, and Lynz are a family. With little Koihime and the baby." She untied her daughter, then pulled a piece of rope off Lynz. "I think that's better."
"At least that horrible cows gone." Lynz said. "The kids don't need influence from a knife thr......oh hell." she said.
Yuriko snickered at this. "Nah, Penelope was a cow." she laughed, getting the ship ready, the woman was truly a monkey swinging from mast to mast. Getting the sails down all by herself. "Demetri! We're almost ready to go! I cooked dinner." She called. One of the things she brought from home was some chicken meat.
"Oh man I wanted fish." he said as Lynz cringed just hearing the word. "Don't be sayin' that nonsense. Just cause I've been living on the water my whole life doesn't mean the fear went away."
"We'll have the chicken, I'll cook Parkur the finny things." She Reassured Lynz. "Can you watch Koihime for me."
"Of course I can we're helping out Demetri aren't we?" she asked Koihime with a smile.
"Uh huh" The little girl said excitedly and walked over to Demetri. "Uncle Parkur!" She jumped into his arms and hugged him.
"The only person who's allowed to call me tha'" he said hugging the little girl. Lynz watched the display. "You could have left me there too you know, why did you let me stay?"
"Because I want you to join my family. My sister died of disease and I wanted to make sure you could handle yourself on the seas after all you ki...got rid of my wife." He told her, still hugging the little girl.
"I'm sorry I didn't know. I knew she was in the group that went with me, but not that she was....I'm sorry." she said looking down, not only because she felt bad but the water was kind of freaking her out.
"Don't be sorry, Lynz." He wrapped his other arm around her. "I wants ye to be my wife." He placed a kiss on her cheek.
"W...what?" she asked shocked Koihime was on the ground running toward the kitchen yelling "Auntie Lynz and Uncle Parkur are going to get married and have kids I can play with!"
Yuriko covered her mouth, picking up her daughter, she came out to go quickly congratulate the couple.1:37 AM
A-Random-Vermouth_"I was upset when Sherls got killed, it was a terrible death for the girl, but i've chosen you, Miss Lynz." He got on one knee. Yuriko held Koihime shocked also at the man she knew for years.
Lynz's eyes were starting to water. "I don't deserve happiness, I've done too many bad things.....I didn't become a pirate by choice, I've been hiding in plain sight this entire voyage. Why would you want to marry me?"
He grinned. "You've overcome your fears and you learned to overpower them, you even jumped in the water to get that jerks bear." He kissed her cheek. "You're the bravest pirate ever."
"Y....you saw that? I just wanted Koihime to have her equilviant of Rufus." she said. " You're not going to let up till I yes are ya?"
"You know me too well." He grinned at her, placing another kiss on her cheek. The girl hugged her bear.
"I....yes." she said softly. "Now get off that floor its disgusting." she added, "Koihime and I were gonna clean it later."
Koihime giggled as Demetri got off the ground. "Are we ready to clean the floor yet there's still blood on it. And congatuations!" She giggled and hugged the two of them together. Yuriko applauded.
"You have the supplies to do it sweetie?" Lynz asked the little girl seeing her holding a bucket of water. "Mommy helped me get them....now when do I get cousins?" she asked.
Demetri blushed, "You'll have your sister first, you should tell her to name it Maya or Kay." He smiled. The kid was too young to learn about babies.
Lynz looked down hiding a blush of her own whispering something along the lines of "Not ready to have kids yet." as Koihime started scubbing the floor, Lynz following suit....
"I'm gonna go cook, if you hear me scream...I've lost the will to live." She joked at the two adults , after all she couldn't do that even if she wanted to.
Demetri smirked, "I'll get us going to where we need to be, the ocean of a crisp blue sea." He sang.
Lynz grinned as she scrubbed Maybe getting married to this goofball won't be half bad!
Koihime giggled and pulled a bit on her shirt. "Are you in love?" She whispered, with more giggles.
Lynz thought this question over. She looked at Koihime and said, "I don't know if I feel love...yet, more of a quiet admiration." she said.
"What if you don't love him?" She asked then frowned.
"I think she'll grow ta love meh with time." Demetri said from behind them. "Quiet admiration is just fine."
She stuck her hands up and giggled. "Unkie Parkie, and Aunnie Lynz! Together!"
"Ugh," Lynz said as she stood up and looked at her clothes...."I gotta scrub them now!" she said with a huff.
"Ye look good, me blushing bride to be." Koihime grinned "Can I help wash the clothes!?"
"Of course you can!" she said to Koihime, with a smile. She turned around to face her fiance, "You're supposed to say that though. I look like death."
"Ye look better than horrible, like ye plundered three islands." He snickered.
She stared at him her bright green eyes giving him an epic stare down., but gave up. "I ain't dignifying that with a proper response."
He kissed her forehead. "I'll kill the most pertiest girl in the world, but then I wouldn't have a love." Demetri smiled.
"Look at you gushing out corny pickup lines, you don't haveta do that ya know, I said yes."
He sniggered. "I was gonna say the pertiest girl alive is dead but that's kinda morbid." He felt a ghostly kick.
The ghost of Conia was behind him, and figured he would kick him....for killing him not once but twice! "Coulda still said it, Sherls was your true love and all."
"She was my true love, but I have quiet admiration for you." He said to the two women, but mostly said to the ghost.
She smiled "Quiet admiration is good," she said then risked death by adding "Parkur." She was watching the sunset over the water.
"It's beautiful, ne?" He grinned, hugging her close. Koihime giggled. "Why did Penelope kill Conia when he called you Parkur!?"
"Because Penelope was a cow, and now she's gone." Lynz said happily.
"She hated the name cause I told her never to call me that." He was actually quite happy he had killed Conia.
As the sunset under the water, the four ate their meal (Lynz staying as far away from Parkur as humanly possible) and got Koihime into bed with her new pirate bear.
"Your going to make a great mother someday." She hugged her. "Sunset is beautiful on the high seas."
"It is, it helps me concentrate on something that's not water. And I'm not sure bout the mother bit, its far too soon for that." Lynz said with a grin.
"I said someday though." She smiled at the little blue eyed girl. "Did you enjoy dinner?"
"Of course, next time we get Lynzs cooking right?" Lynz sputtered. "I'll leave that to your ma, I can't cook myself out of a canvas bag. Ask her what happened during the last time, it can be your bedtime story."
"Lynz's cooking is like..." She trailed off then finally regained her voice, "Your grampa's cooking...he burns water." Hiding back a tear of her own.
"Didn't help you had me de-boning......finny things either...." Lynz huffed as she heard Parkur intense laughter, "Shut up you!" she added.
"His idea. And sorry we had to treat you bad. After all you got me out of the brig. If I didn't release PT..." She made a face. You may have got to go back home."
"Its okay, I knew what I was in for, I knew that I could die at any moment." she said.
"Any of us could have." She admitted softly, "27 islanders...3 were set free, well the one locked up was given a body...I'm still hoping she's not dead...And 3 of us...Anokata retired with the Dread Pirate Roberts..." She hid a sigh. "Most of us had happy endings too..." She frowned at this.
"Hey don't talk like that, I know he's around the ship somewhere in secret just waiting in the wings to get Parkur for double killing him."
She laughed, "Yeah, he probably is around the ship...Kleene and Ako had a sad end. The two with the worse ending are me and Kirby. Though you and Parkie are quite adorable. I know he's still distressed over Sherls. We almost saved breva too."
"Its been a long week, I'm going to bed." Lynz said. Next morning everyone was awoken by a splash. "Wha'theell" Lynz, Yuriko, and Koihime burst out laughing. "What the heck ya doin' down there?"
"Throw me a rope! Won't you!" He called as the three girls did and helped pull him up. A note was written in fresh blood. "Every morning he'll go in the drink. Signed, your friendly neighborhood victims."
