Where can I legally download Japanese music?

Post by Shuusgirl »

...The title pretty much says it all.  I just need someplace I can buy/download Japanese music legally, and I can't find any on itunes.

It's not really anyone specifically, I want some of the Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango and some other soundtracks.  I just really don't want to get them illegally.
I read somewhere that you can buy an itunes giftcard (a Japanese one) and go through the itunes store from there, but I was just wondering if there was an easier way to get it.

In my opinion, if you are going to go through all the trouble of buying it, you might as well buy the CD.  ;D

Perhaps the most complete source of Japanese music.... http://z15.invisionfree.com/JAPANESE_MU ... wtopic=218

However, I am not sure if one would consider it illegal.

When they moved to that site, I noticed some of their artists disappeared.

From what I hear, beemp3 is not legal. One place that I do know that provides legal Japanese music is http://www.hearjapan.com/. They don't seem to have the mainstream artists though, and the anime music in it are re-recorded by independent artists. Still, it may be worth a shot.

TPB is brimming with hundreds of discographies, and no torrent is supposed to be removed, unless it's abusive (child pornography, murder scenes, etc...)
I don't see why it was removed, unless some jerk reported it as a scam.
Anyways, if you read the Legal Threats and the responds TPB sends back, you'll grasp how jokingly TPB handles copyright laws.
