My guess:
Scar-faced Akai = Bourbon
Okiya = AKai
Since this is a guess, I have no evidence (or maybe no time to type out) sorry

I'm looking forward to Chianti drinking Okiya's "coffee" ;D hahah

Looking at a raw I believe the character used is 新. There are furigana next to it but they are too small for me to be able to guess what they are.Nanatsu no Ko wrote:File 622 page 4Sere wrote: May anybody tell me, where it was said, that Bourbon is new to the organization? I wonder if it is supposed to have a concrete meaning or be ambiguous.Spoiler:
Well, the Kanji is the one for "new". I didn't remember that page, so thanks Nanatsu.Chekhov MacGuffin wrote:Looking at a raw I believe the character used is æ–°. Ginrei's interpretation is reasonable. Another interpretation is that he only recently moved high enough in the ranks to receive an alcoholic codename.
I agree. I think that he might be a low-ranked member for a long time before he received the codename "Bourbon". That explains why he has such kind of freedom like Vermouth has.GinRei wrote: Based on the newest chapter's revelation of how much Bourbon hates Akai, I'm thinking "new" merely meant that he was on standby this whole time, and was just deployed.
Hm yeah I was thinking something along that line too. So Bourbon needn't have known or worked with Akai directly but he could have just known of this 'Akai Shuuichi' the traitor who got Akemi into trouble with the Org.FanOfShinichi wrote:I agree. Out of the topic: I just wonder why Bourbon hates Akai so much, even more tham Gin. It's not just becuz Akai betrayed the BO. I think the reason might has something to do with Akemi or Sherry ;D . I personally guess that he was in love with Akemi, who's in love with Akai. But Akemi was considered as a traitor becuz of Akai, then died, that's why Bourbon hates him that much...
