That's why I said I was a little non-strict about that problem.
But I hate when people hack during FPS games. Like, hide behind unshootable areas.

An online FPS I played, people hacked and hid behind the maps so you can't shoot them.
But they can shoot you... :(

I don't remember if the Orange Box has all of those specific things you are looking for in the game. Looking for specifics really doesn't matter though as Wii controls and Valve have made any other console FPSs completely boring. And there's no reason to not get the Orange Box ever.

I'm playing with XBOX360, not Wii.

which means there's the Orange Box the Left 4 Dead games and nothing else worthwhile for you to get in the genre (no offense to Bioshock fans though)

I still haven't opened it. But I do want a good game. I should probably go ask an actual gaming site.

Depends. If you mean something like IGN then don't bother as places like that tend to be filled with nothing but fanboys anyway.

I was going to go with gamespot. That might not be as good either.

I don't like being "that" guy but any mainstream gaming site in general is a horrible idea outside of maybe Joystiq or Screwattack.

Gamespot is an incredibly iffy website to gamers, probably the most unreliable mainstream gaming site.  This was due to one of their long time editors giving a game a bad review, despite the massive advertisements on the entire site.  That editor was later fired - there was a big debacle over the whole incident (the game was Kane and Lynch).

The only person you can trust fully is yourself, so if you want to get Black Ops, go for it.  From your list I'd say Cod: Black Ops is a pretty good match.

I usually choose games based on pictures. :P

Yeah yeah, don't judge a game based on it's gameplay photos.

Why not videos?  They are more informative - seeing how you are rather new to next gen gaming/ fps in general I'd say Black Ops would be a good choice for you, you'll like it, especially if you've never played a CoD game before.  Make sure you have xbox live!

Does that cost money too, right? Don't I need to buy the membership to stay online?

yes, if you don't have xbox live you won't be able to play online with people in Black Ops, which kind of defeats the purpose :/
