I do that anyway. :P I'm sorry. D: *more hugs* I'd say cheer up, but, well... :\
Yeah, definitely never had that problem.

hey now, she's 22 too, so it's her fault, not just me rubbing off on her.

also:

that might've been the problem, I know a lot of people who've had bad experiences with HP laptops.

Doesn't mean I'm not gonna blame you.

True. HP kinda sucks, tbh.

my experiences with HP laptops:
-The previous HP laptop I had literally melted its power cables' plastic. It was really pretty hard to get the cables out sometimes. :P
-The current one I have sitting next to me's battery doesn't work anymore, so it only works when it's actually plugged in :V

>:D *more hugging back* yeah, don't worry, I'm getting by just hoping it won't elevate to a double depression like it did 1.5 years ago.... :\
Probably Skynet, like Abs. said :P
And yeah, I never really liked HP products (my first printer.... was crap :P), but I think I needed a Window system to accompany my old one during that year, and HP just happened to be there :P  wrong choice XD

I had a Compaq (which is still technically HP) that only lasted 2 years before it completely crapped out on me. It took about an hour just to start up and took forever if I wanted to do anything. Plus the hinges broke on it, so I had to prop it open, and the power cord was pretty screwed up, too. ::) I've had my current laptop (Toshiba <3) for almost 2 years and it's still amazing.

Well, after my HP experiences (crappy printers, crappy computer) I went with a Sony totally works fine.... apparently,  only the Japanese know how to make good lasting hardware systems :P, then again, HPs are made in China XD

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

Nahhh, if you live in my area, Fry's Electronics have these occasional big sales events that can give you really good deals  like this... ^^

not quite as powerful, but if you want a decent hard drive and memory:
A toshiba laptop with 4 GB DDR3, 320 GB HD on SlickDeals for $450 from Best Buy

and really, I dunno exactly what you use your computer for, but unless it's for some really extreme stufff, 4 GB of RAM is more than enough, and you could just get a cheap external if you want that extra HD space.

True usually, 4 RAM should be enough... Commi :)
The stuff I do on my laptop is different however :P so I do need the RAM :o, not to mention the extra 1TB HD for just this laptop :o
