Life Lessons/messages from anime

Post by JConan23 »

Post all the life lessons from anime. Try to avoid junk like "when dealing with shinigamis bring apples". I want things like Live for today, look forward for tomorrow from Blood+. Realizations and Values from http://forums.dctp.ws/viewtopic.php?t=3028.0 work too but actually post the realizations not the just the anime

From Spiral:
The further you fall, the longer your climb back up.  But once you make it to the top, you're stronger than ever.

for some reason I've always been a fan of Luffy's simple "People die."

My current favorite
(I just revise the job description and title to fit me - Auditing & Auditor / Accounting & Accountant)

"Choosing not the craft of bartending, but the life of a bartender" - Sasakura Ryuu (Bartender)

Other quotes I was able to note on my phone;

"If you can't face reality, you can't change yourself" - Satou (Welcome to the NHK)

"It's dangerous to get drawn into fantasy, no matter how fun it may be, it is not real" - ? (Kino's Journey)

"If you get your revenge, neither of your pains would go away" - Kanzaki Nao (Liar Game)

"Being able to love two women at once... That just isn't who I am" - Akai Shuichi (Detective Conan)
If you think you are cooler than me then prove it, B*TCH!

I think Donflamingo's speech is sooo true, I mean the lesson or message would be that "history is written by the winners" and whatever they say is the "correct thing" or "truth". Just brilliant, from One piece.

Donflamingo: "Kids who have neer seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values. Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and right. This very place is neutral ground. Justice will prevail you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!"

Monster - All human life are equal
Naruto - Never give up and i love the whole Will Of Fire thing
FMA - All is one and one is all
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni kai - you can overcome fate
DC - dont interfere with relationships from Red Wall case (Koumei ftw)

all i can think of. i gotta start watching more meaningful anime instead of mindless action

I dunno if these are life lessons, but oh well. And I dunno if these were mentioned too.

"Only those who are prepared to fire should be fired at."
"If the king doesn't move, then his subjects won't follow."
"The world won't change with pretty words alone."
— Lelouch Lamperouge

"The time you implement your greatest technique is the time of greatest crisis. This too is an inviolable law of battle."
— Toushiro Hitsugaya

"If you hesitate for a moment it can be fatal. Just like in chess."
"Humans have no scruples about lying."
"Justice in this world is just a bunch of principles made by those with power to suit themselves."
"Only two kinds of people exist in this world. Those who steal and those who are stolen from."
— Ciel Phantomhive

"He who attacks first always wins."
— L Lawliet

"Believe in you, not in the me who believes in you; not in the you that believes in me. You should believe... believe in yourself!"
— Kamina

"Stand up and walk. Keep going forward. At least you have strong legs to take you there."
— Edward Elric
