So do we just give them, or are we gonna have to supply reasons?

EDIT: Episode 345 of Detective Conan was absolutely horrid.

I always hated the costume party ship part of the case (enormous waste of time), but I'm curious as to your reasons for disliking 345.

Spoiler: why i dont like 345
Well, I thought the volume of mask reveals was annoying (especially with Heiji doubling up and dropping both just kind of to drop both), Conan's idea of "get kidnapped disguised as the target and hope she makes a phone call before blowing my brains out" was really just stupid, I've explained why the Ran scene makes me puke (apparently the trained sniper can't hit a girl in plain view with no cover at about 30 ft), Vermouth's flashback to the NY case shows why her idolizing Ran really doesn't make sense, I don't see how Vermouth couldn't have walked up closer to Ran and Ai so that she doesn't shoot Ran by accident, it started the trend of Akai being a "get of a jail because he's so cool" free card (which was made worse in 425), we're supposed to still think "woah, calvados hid a gun on him he's so talented" after he shot himself, and nothing was really accomplished in the story that had about 170 episodes of build outside a phone number than Conan just kind of decided not to use because Ai told him not to and he decided to listen to her warning this one but not at other times.

-Gintama isn't funny
-Supertramp is better than probably any rock band you're listening to
-MGS3 is overrated
-MGMT is overrated
-I liked School Rumble more than Azumanga Daioh

that's just a fact man, there's no controversy unless you're a madridista or from portugal.

I was born for this topic.

My first contribution: Mad Men isn't nearly as good as people think it is.

My second contribution: Inception wasn't even remotely as epic, deep, or thought-provoking as so many like to claim. On a related note, The Dark Knight Rises was a massive disappointment and anyone claiming otherwise is still in denial.

My third contribution: The 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead is better than the original. Night of the Living Dead (the original) is better than all that followed it, including the aforementioned Dawn remake (which is still great). Diary of the Dead was good, and was leagues better than the original Day of the Dead, which is--all told--a fairly miserable picture with very few redeeming qualities.

some dc and vg related claims:

-Anime originals are underrated relative to manga based cases. There's a gap to be sure, but it's not nearly as large as people make it out to be and there are tons of sweet AOs that go overlook because of prejudice.
-Detective Conan has not changed that much. Sure, DC isn't as good as it was 5, 10, 15, however many years ago. The reality is that changes the perception of DC have more to do with personal changes (people getting older, getting used to the mystery tricks, getting to know all the devices Gosho uses to advance the plot) than with changes in the content itself. Just to emphasize, that's not to say that the material is as good as it always was, but I think people overstate the gap.
-MGS2>MGS3 and, as a bonus, the opinion that has gotten me far more hate than other... Chrono Cross>Chrono Trigger.
