Does the fact that I don't remember Adult!Bambi at all and have more fond memories of Child!Simba answer your question?

I like them both better as children, though adult!Simba is pretty badass when he stops being a whiny emo teen lion.
I haven't watched Bambi too much though, mainly because I prefer other Disney movies and also the whiplash between THAT MOMENT EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE I'M SURE YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT and the springtime sequence with everyone getting "twitterpated" always gives me a sore neck.
