The last time I had to buy a present was.......when my mother still handled the buying stuff because I was in elementary school. So I'll have to go with the first option.

Usually.  It doesn't always involve buying things, though.  For example, I spent less than $5 on my best friend for Christmas, but made something (largely out of materials around my house) that she absolutely loved.

The one and only time I've ever given anyone a Christmas present, everything was cheap knick-knacks from the dollar store, so no.

If I do, #3. Then again, 90% of my presents are hand-made anyway (mostly poems), so if that counts, it's much more common :x

All the time  . Yes I am this weird. I always think how this person would react, I like to get something which I know that the target person likes, not necessary expensive it might be just a £5 present.

However, if it's for a wedding or people I do not know that much I just give money

I tend to overthink it, convince myself that they'll hate it, and then breathe a sigh of relief when they don't. Apparently I have a knack for getting good, unexpected presents, though

Usually. I really want them to like it, and I doubt a lot deciding what to buy(or sometimes make it myself)
