Yup. My guess is that it's pumped with actionscenes to make it into three movies, or it's filled with stuff from other books as well. There is a long while in The Hobbit where Gandalf wanders off to do his own thing and then returns ages later. It sounds like he's been doing some really awesome stuff, but none of it's ever described or explained in detail. So if the extended length of The Hobbit includes sequences of Gandalf performing badassery.... I am completely and totally fine with this.Anaine wrote:Yup. I'm okay with that as well.
