Should there be some sort of a third option seeing as the two dudes are really close in the surveys?

There shouldn't be a third option because there's approximately a 0% chance of anyone else winning.

Was referring more to the possibility of a tie (if this possibility even exists)

There is a slight possibility of a tie.  If this were an opinion poll, I wouldn't be able to vote for either of them.  I sincerely hope neither will win the election.

If there's not a majority in the electoral college, the decision goes to the Senate, so there's really no "tying" option. ^^;

...and I have no idea who will win. ^^;

I thought it was up to congress to break the tie, aka Romney. Then it goes to Senate to pick the VP, which would be Biden. Don't think Romney at that point could "fire" Biden and "hire" Ryan.

Anyways I have no clue who will win. I figure I will keep my head down and just play Assassin's Creed 3 for the day lol.

I should've looked it up rather than thinking the first one I thought it was was the right one when trying to remember which part of Congress handled that. :-X

It really doesn't matter that much. If they can't get the confidence back in the economy because each side would like to keep to all their ideals about taxes and social services, then the economy will continue to stagger, and many other issues will be divided to the point where nothing gets done in America.
