Third option

This applies for me in both the US and Israel.

Yeah :-X The accent where I grew up is apparently very grumpy (even though I've never heard anyone speak like they do in some commercials :|) plus I'm a fast talker and now I'm living in a slow talking area

No. I actually have less accent then some of the people around me, but the bit of accent I have (definite article before names :x) is definitely from around here.
Then again, German accents (as opposed to dialects) are rather weak, and most people don't really have any (the definite article mentioned above is one of the few things that differ from region to region, and you usually can't narrow anyone further down than Northern, Western or Southern, and that usually takes some specific words (e.g. words starting on Ch-) and is not necessarily accurate). Basically, the differences within High German are pretty much negligible.

Yes, but it's an accent that I don't think I actually have.

Yes, slightly, considering how I've only moved here two years ago from the North, and now I'm in, as I say, 'Redneck Country'.

A bit- I haven't lived in the US for sixteen years, but there's a slight southern twang that just will not go away.

When I'm visiting relatives in the US, my accent counts as a LOT different- really different when I'm there, and then really different from everyone at home's when I get back because my accent's drifted back across the Atlantic.
