i'd bring sonoci and manga, and i'd bring ihkf because she could give us refreshments!

3 males, 1 female.  Sometimes you just need a bit of extra muscle.  (Don't get me wrong- I know there are plenty of women who weight train and whatnot, but they're still generally going to be weaker than a man that weight trains.)

I guess I can't really say, but chances are they'd all be men.

The part of my brain in the gutter says 3 women, 1 man, but the realist in me says 2/2 for the reasons Kor stated.  That, and the Slayers team is 2/2 and they seem to work out amazingly well, so that seems to be a good model.

I have to say that greatly depends on who you're traveling with.

considering the flavor of the last poll (magical items etc), if there's magic involved, the muscle wouldn't be an issue all the time, so I'd go with half-and-half.

But the standard RPG trope is that the party builds itself.  To choose it yourself would invite certain doom!

I'm going with 2 of each. But really it doesn't matter, as long as everyone has something good they can contribute with to the team.

Well, girls do tend to add a lot of drama... I don't like drama. XD

3 guys and me. I still insist on disguising as a trade caravan in order to make the bad guys go wander around the kingdom pointlessly looking for us, and keeping to gender stereotypes would make us stand out less. Thus, I'd need two male "caravan guards" and a "husband" who is driving the cart.

(I'd go with all girls otherwise. XD)
