Ya, but for male characters it's used as a self image fantasy, and not a standard. Or more bluntly: hot women are for men, and hot men are for men. Also, how dare you show a Liefield's picture in public, that's just disgusting.Akonyl wrote: but, since I voted comics for the women poll solely on the physical portrayal, I almost feel like I have to say comics here as well. Because I mean as long as we're going with the ridiculous posturing women do in comics for maximum sexy points, you have things like this that feel the need to show you a dude's muscles regardless of whether it makes sense or not:
Spoiler: Glorious Master Liefield's interpretation of Captain America
of course, but my point was that in comics they're so fixated on checklist drawings that Liefield feels the need to be like "this guy's standing sideways, I have to position his body in a grotesque abomination fashion so you can see his pecs too", which is something that I've never seen any other drawn medium do when drawing super-muscly menProfParanoia wrote:Ya, but for male characters it's used as a self image fantasy, and not a standard.
