While I can't really think of any specific example, I pretty certain the answer is "yes" for me.

I think that third option needs some rewording

but anyway, no, not really. For the most part I don't look at art with a mindset where I'm thinking about the opinions and motivations of the artist  while they created it anyway, I take it as its own thing.

I don't bother to find out.  If they're good artists, they're good artists.

I voted yes, but mostly with social opinion stuff, and if it's bad enough I dont have to go looking to find it.

From experience? No, it does not. Good works are good works even if I think the creator has a few screws loose in regards to some outside matter.

But if I bothered to check and find out that they do, in fact, have those opinions I highly disagree with, then I'd probably stop supporting them.

Between option 2 and 3. I don't usually bother to find out about those things. But if I happen to come across those stuff then I don't think it will affect how I think of their work but it probably affect how I think of them as a person. So, I went with option 2.

Yes. Usually. It's like 80% of the time.

I don't tend to check... it also depends on what the opinion is, I guess. I mean, P!nk being an ardent PETA supporter doesn't turn me off her work, though I do find them mental. If she'd declared herself a member of the WBC or the KKK or something, though, I don't think I'd be able to keep listening to her stuff without finding subtext that I didn't like.

Unless their overly religious, I usually don't have problems, it's what's in the song that usually bothers me rather than the artist
